About this product
The new AirPods deliver the wireless headphone experience, reimagined. Just pull them out of the charging case and they're ready to use with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac. After a simple, one-tap setup, AirPods work like magic. They're automatically on and always connected. AirPods can even sense when they're in your ears and pause when you take them out. This product is excluded from 30 Day Money Back Guarantee.
To adjust the volume, change the song, make a call or even get directions, simply say Hey Siri and make your request. You have the freedom to wear one or both AirPods, and you can play or skip forward with a double-tap when listening to music or podcasts.
AirPods deliver 5 hours of listening time and 3 hours of talk time on a single charge. And they're made to keep up with you, thanks to a charging case that holds multiple charges for more than 24 hours of listening time.

sorted byIt’s no good telling me about frequencies etc, as I just won’t understand it, I just need to know mine are better or the Apple ones are better by some margin. Explain it like you are telling a 3 year old, then I have some hope of making sense of it.
I would appreciate any constructive thoughts. (edited)
Pro's would be around the £80 mark. (edited)
What's the deal on eBay I've looked and there's literally loads of these (and other versions) advertised as new from sellers with either no or little feedback, all lower price, are these likely to be genuine ?
I know I'm not losing any money if I get sent fakes but what's going on ?
They buy cheap replica Airpods that are £10 then try to sell them as genuine for like £60. (edited)
If you have Apple phones etc, then AirPod pros could be a good option. I hated the fit, either not a good seal or falling out, and ended up returning them but the ANC and sound were both very good. Did find the mic struggled in office for calls too which was another deal breaker for me.
Got a pair of Sony WF1000XM4s arriving today to test but the XM5s will be released on Monday which are smaller and have some crucial improvements (pricing TBC). Suspect these will be the best out of everything though.
Short answer, I’ll probably test the XM4s and XM5s next week and if neither are worth the additional cost revert back to my 3 yo 75Ts. (edited)
Personally for any remote courses, I'd invest in a headset with a noise cancelling microphone, specifically one that is Teams certified

Yes they are overpriced but one overlooked issue in my experience is connectivity. Initial connection, pausing, switching ears, switching devices etc is never quite as seamless when I’ve tried other headphones with an iPhone and MacBook. (edited)
