    I took the plunge a couple of weeks ago when this was at this price and it’s so good I got a second last week for my wife. I found them very good quality and certainly fit for purpose.

    These are good if you only have vents to mount it on. But with a slight bit of adaptation they fit in any other nooks and cranny’s you can find in the car. (edited)

    This sits too far from the vent adding extra weight on the vent blade. The blade snapped after going over a speed bump with just a little more speed. Would not recommend. (edited)

    I think that says more about your car than this product. But what I would say is that the hook assembly is metal, so it isn't likely to break itself and the weakest point will likely be the vent. I don't think that's a reason not to get it, but I wouldn't if you have a car with a flimsy vent, especially in combination with a large heavy phone.

    Sick to my back teeth buying phone holders for the car that just dont work, the sticky on ones dont stay stuck , and this one would probably just add to the pile of broken black plastic bits ive paid money for .

    I got the sticky one of these and it has stuck itself to my dashboard - without needing to use the included plastic circle - for a couple of months now in all temperatures. I was trying to avoid putting something on the windscreen. Very happy with it. The holder itself is the same as this one and grips the phone very securely. (edited)

    i got this last week and am very happy with it.
    Fits my S23 ultra fine, and seems very sturdy in my car, so would recommend it.
