If I didn't already own a PS5 Phat, I would probably wait for the PS5 Slim. If you've been without for 3-years, waiting an extra six-months for the smaller, cheaper and possibly (slightly) more-powerful console would be the best-bet. There may be some additional improvements such improved VRR and diffferent / untra-wide resolution support (for those who use PC monitors to game on). (edited)

Great price. Note that the power cable is simply a detachable "figure 8" cable; you can swap it out for one with a UK plug.

Imagine not simply preordering a PS5 3 years ago.

It was in the middle of a global pandemic.. not everyone could afford one 3 years ago.
Beyond that not everyone wants a launch day console due to the extremely limited game library.

Just got a PS5 the ps5 is half way through its life and most of the games I haven't played on it are old where are all the new games for the ps5 ?

Demon's Souls, Astro's Playroom, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal, Final Fantasy 16, my favourite: Gran Turismo 7 and one or two I have missed.

Most of the multiplat stuff is more or less PS5 exclusive too like SF6 as Playstation has the best controller, exclusive content and much bigger online playerbase for multiplayer games (although most is cross play these days).
