This rice is not good. We bought this previously because of the cheap price. Idk what it is about it, but it didn't feel like "real" rice to me... like it was synthetically grown? We finished the bag to avoid wasting it, but we will not buy it again. Maybe it is cheap for a reason? (Tilda 5kg is £16) I'm no food expert, just someone who eats rice every day their whole life lol and this is NOT good rice.

    What I would recommend:
If you have a Costco membership, their jasmine rice is really good. Search "Peacock Thai Hom Mali Fragrant Rice" on the Costco website for those interested. Tastes good and smells really nice! The only downside is you have to buy a minimum of 2x 10kg bags lol. (edited)

Maybe it's old crop? I've bought lots of cheap and more expensive jasmine rice over the years and honestly i can't really notice much difference.

This has been around the £8 at my local Tesco for a while now and the world food clue card promo knocks it down to £7. (edited)
