Apparently Lebara is 30 days as well now.
We switch between the two every six months. (edited)
Lyca has become god-awful for me after it moved to the EE. Network black holes, poor internet speed even when out and about and the worst is the dropped calls every 10 mins or so. The call doesn't disconnect, it simply goes blank!
Been with Lyca on O2 for over 10 years. It wasn't amazing but definitely not this bad. (edited)
For now, if you want EE band 20/800MHz and VoLTE Your only options are EE Direct, CMLink, Popit and 1p Mobile.
Bought on a deal on the 4th June. Just tried activating in Norway.
It's not showing any plan on my account, and the emails don't say which it is when I bought!
Would have been either the below deal or a 15GB one.
Any ideas how to get this activated? As my emails don't show what I bought...

Also - the first letter/sim arrived damaged in the post so we did call Customer Services and got through quickly and they were really helpful.
When I brought the sim, it took £1.99 payment and added that as a credit on this new sim.
Not sure how to use it to activate this particular bundle offer.
To activate a Lycamobile SIM and bundle you just put it in a phone and switch it on. Within 5 minutes of connecting to the network for the first time you'll get a welcome message to say you're good to go and your bundle is active.
If you have waited over a month to activate though, you'll find the bundle offer has expired, and it's been refunded as cash credit. At which point you'd have to choose a full price bundle instead. Or cancel and order another SIM, remembering to activate it sooner next time.
I will never ever again use Lyca
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
200mb odd doing speedtest
Three PAYG is probably your best bet. Otherwise pick up a local SIM when you arrive in the US.
I guess HUD shouldn't allow this deal, I'm afraid many will get stuck (edited)
Doesnt matter signal strength if they cant do that basic.
And it's LYCA
with lebara switching is simple. With Lyca you have to provide sim serial number for switching and fill up a more difficult form compared to lebara.
Can always call them if everything else fails to work. (edited)
It's going to cost me a bit more in the long run but I won't have to deal with Lyca, or the wife moaning about Lyca (Hopefully) anymore.
Ah I think better deal via uswitch if you intend to keep it longer. (edited)
