It is obvious CCL are not going to honour this misprice as they would not even fulfil orders of the correct price in a recent eBay promo period where people made orders before they jacked up the price. Yes, to my knowledge, they cancelled orders and cited stock issues despite having enough stock.
Expanding on the above regarding price hikes, during the eBay promotion period they put their price up to then have the discount make it ever so slightly cheaper than it was before the promotional period. And it is not a supply and demand situation as the prices suddenly fall as soon as the promotion is over.
Interestingly enough, the Tactus Group has had a couple of misprices in the last day or so. I cannot say with certainty that it is intentional. But when you consider their recent actions, it is hard not to think otherwise.
eBay and HotUKDeals do not appear to really care. I have contacted both but nothing obvious has changed since. The best thing to do is avoid giving your money to businesses that engage in such scummy practices as much as possible. Even if it is a misprice, just do not do it.
I would post the sources to my claims but I am on my mobile and it would be an absolute ball ache. Though I might go digging later if there is interest in me doing so - and if the posts still exist.
