I have always wanted to visit Cuba since I played Driver 2 as a kid. It looks like a coloured place which is different from anything else.

It's not my best deal as the period is not too flexible but... it still exists !

One thing to remember is that if you do go to Cuba you will not be allowed to enter the USA on an ESTA. you will need a Visa which means a trip to the embassy and far more expensive.

Not an issue if you don't want to go to the USA, or have a second passport of course.

only if the Cuba entry/exit is stamped on your passport.

You can choose to have your entry recorded on a separate piece of paper.

    Note the following :

"Worldwide, a season's climatological peak activity takes place in late summer, when the difference between air temperature and sea surface temperatures is the greatest. Peak activity in an Atlantic hurricane season happens from late August through September, with a midpoint on September 10."

I visited Cuba over 20 years ago and loved it and would like to go back, but the risk of getting my ESTA cancelled and having to apply for a visa so we can see relatives in the US isn't worth it. There are reports of people being denied entry to the US even though they didn't have a Cuba stamp in their passport.

I went to Cuba in 2017 for two weeks, then to the US in 2018 for a week, no issues with entry. I can imagine some not getting into America if they have any criminal convictions? The US took a huge hit on tourism during covid, I can't imagine them not allowing tourists in off the back of a visit to Cuba, a beautiful part of the world but still a third world country
