Can you get the £66 TCB cashback and a £150 Amazon voucher though? I thought you'd only be allowed one or the other, can anyone confirm for certain please?

voucher is from them directly regardless if you go via TCB or not

They are taking their sweet time activating for me. Underground work done. Telephone poll wiring and black box done. Other streets nearby have it. What could the hold up be?

Sweet deal though. How do you get it to work together with TCB?

Same boat as you. My road and all the roads around me have got the black boxes installed on the telegraph poles.

Had the letter from them around 5 months ago and heard nothing since. I tweeted them and got this response:

At this time we are still in the planning phase of getting our network installed here, and signed off by the relevant councils/landlords, it may still be some time before we are available in this area. Please register your interest on the website and we will let you know when we become available. kind Regards, CF

From my understanding speaking with G.Network and Community Fibre, they're both negoitiating with councils to get borough wide agreements in place instead of a per install basis where they're the landlords or freeholders.
I wonder if these councils are looking to make some money to agree such deals.

It is weird though as i've seen many council estates with Communtity fibre already installed and running. (edited)

    Same for me...

had a letter via post saying "3 months to go" about 3 months and 3 days ago. I've checked the streets adjacent to me and down the road and they all have it activated already so unsure why my portion of the area still has not. Tried enquiring but getting a very generic "keep checking" from their robots. Currently paying close to £30 just for regular broadband (<100mb) so definitely looking to snap up one of these deals.

Just had a scope on my area after doing some research and on my connected telephone pole i could see 2x AFN/CBT installed. However, comparing to the other poles in the area which i know for sure have CF activated, they have an additional AFN which looks different to the others and this is the one that I don't have on my pole. Based on this it seems like they still have that to install before i am anywhere near to getting the service activated. Keeping an eye out for a cherry picker soon hopefully....

Forget the amazon voucher. It's been years we are coming to your area

Pulled the trigger on this for the 120 Amazon voucher for 12 months via MSM but couldn't see how to get the cashback on top.

I wish these guys could serve my address. 3 gigabit symmetrical *Homer Simpson drool

I'm on Virgin's Gigabit down, 100 megabit up until then (although by then Virgin might have caught up). (edited)

I signed up 2 months ago, super happy. Spotted a local van and asked the guy how to sign up, I called in and they did the install 2 days later !

These guys were excellent until recently, constant outages.

This worries me, they're growing so fast with customer base, I'm not sure how ready they are or will be with constant repair works and outages etc (edited)

Considering grabbing this deal, as PlusNet screwed up at the start of my contract apparently so they've given me a free opt out of my contract.

Question for anyone who has made the switch - can you switch to Fibre and still maintain your old Broadband internet? I'd ideally like to ensure one was up and running before cancelling the other, as we predominantly work from home these days.

Yes. I was going to have two. Now TV on copper and then a new fibre line, which is separate with community fibre. This is a wise move as the engineers sometimes miss their first install date due to rapid expansion and not enough staff. (edited)
