This is a bargain! I paid a tenner for it not long ago. I find this is actually better than the official Sony ones because it's powered by USB C. So you can either plug it in to your console or just use an old phone charger plug and plug it into the mains.
The dongle also fits a lot of other controllers. I use it with my Xbox Series controller with the battery cover off and it charges the official battery just fine. It also has an extra USB port and I use that to plug in a small USB C cable to charge my headset. This is honestly fantastic with its multi-use functionality. Highly recommended to everyone! (edited)
