Non-members can buy after paying the one-off £15 fee (cheapest annual membership) costco.co.uk/mem…hip

Great price for a Mini-LED, seems the best it has ever been
Before making up your mind, you may want to read the heated debate comments (US vs UK/EU version of the TV) & various European review links posted on the previous £900 deal thread hotukdeals.com/dea…876

Read this & sub-comments from the previous deal hotukdeals.com/com…451

Bought this TV when it was last on offer for £699. Fantastic buy for this price also. Im really impressed with the picture quality. Gaming on this Tv looks amazing too, i'd really recommend it. I did notice a slight glow in really dark scenes, but now I don't notice it at all. Sound quality is the best I've ever had on a TV but I have a soundbar, so I use that right now. (edited)

I don't think i can recommend this TV. Was looking to get a led 65" and this seems to fit the bill. The problem is that the UK version has a much inferior panel. WhatHi gave it a 3 star review and the things I picked up on in this review were that the motion handling was terrible on 24fps , viewing angles were poor and the blacks weren't very good and there was a clouding effect. Everyone needs to read this. I always try and add it to any of these hisense despite this being a budget price. You should ironically only buy hisenses budget tvs of there own range in England. There higher end models in uk are no better. Always less zones and ips worse algos

Had mine for over a year and it's a cracking set for this price (I paid £999 and very happy at that price). I've not had any issues with it.

If you had a spare room for gaming it would be an amazing set for that - you sit straight on, 4K 120Hz capable, very bright, low latency.

This is not a deal and has been this price for ages. It was recently on a deal for £699 at Costco however. (edited)

You might want to add 120Hz refresh rate to the description / title as it's quite important to the gaming folk

Motion handling always gets marked down as poor on every Hisense TV review I have read so if you watch sports you might be better going to a TV shop (if you can find one) to view first, dont forget that many people spends hours staring at these screens so you don`t need blurry vision.

How does this compare to similar led tcl TVs, such as the 835 and this year's 845 ?

In theory the TCL should be slightly better as it's a 144hz va panel vs a 120hz ips-ads on the Hisense (the US version is VA). The TCL also has more mini leds and more dimming zones than the Hisense in the UK.

i have been looking at this for a while price has been this for a while, the only thing that puts me off is the thickness of the tv coming from a lg oled 55 c8, they didn't have the 55"
    Crossbow's avatar
I don't think the thickness will put you off compared to some other aspects like much poorer viewing angles & not as deep blacks. Are you staying away from OLEDs mainly due to the current prices for 65" ones?
Out of curiosity, how often do you do a side on view with a flat TV & focus on its thickness?
