Comes as standard with all inclusive. You don’t even pay extra for the privilege. We have been to Sharm once never again awful place and full of very ignorant Russians

Hmmm...I love snorkeling there but three stars in Sharm El-Sheikh is roughly on a par with the Bibby Stockholm!

    Recommend going 4\5 star definitely

We went to Sharm earlier this year and loved it - the fish off our house reef were incredible. I personally would only do 5 star but if you have a strong constitution (and a decent supply of Imodium) give it a go. I highly recommend the TUI Blue Sensatori Coral Sea, but it’s in a different price bracket altogether.

How easy is to have a day trip arranged to visit the pyramids of Giza?
    everypennycounts's avatar
Very easy as soon as you get off plane people will approach you! You can go via plane for around £250 or coach for £50 ish amazing definitely worth going
They will have operaters in hotel too, or alternatively you could book prehand from here ! (edited)

I thought the same. I wouldn't personally. Especially not with kids.

Superb reviews (if you can discern what they mean that is)

I go to Egypt every year and sometimes get a bad stomach but it's not bad food it's just different food, a big change in heat and too much sun.
    Roblucy's avatar
The sun and heat has nothing to do with an upset stomach. It is poor hygiene in the food process.

Haha ,you would think they would at least try to make the reviews believable.

I’ve been to Sharm lots of times, if you’re not travelling out of the area you don’t need a $25pp visa. Soho square by the Savoy & Sierra hotels is a lot more ‘civilised’ than the other areas, Naama bay is vibrant and handy for the jetty if diving, Nabq & Hadaba are not great tbh. You’re likely to get an upset stomach if you frequent the lower end of the hotel market cross contamination etc and poor knowledge is the main cause.
Its a love or hate place really…

Just don't swim in the sea!

I think your confusing the pristine, clear blue waters of Sharm El-Sheikh with our own e.coli infested coastal seas...

    go 5 star in egypt
  15. LauraJbargainhunter's avatar
It's worth having a look at 5 stars as there probably isn't a huge price difference as hotels are generally quite cheap. Also, look at TUI hotel only and book separate flights as TUI really discount some hotels they need to sell x

Having staying at a similar rated hotel in January in Sharm, this is not really a deal. Yes, £760 may sound cheap (I paid £580 all in for my trip in January) you'll likely spend half of that eating out every night as the food will likely be terrible

They didn’t go for a rebrand after 88 people were killed here then. Pass.
