sorted byId stay across the border in La Linea and walk across to Gib as the prices for Air B&B etc are a lot cheap than staying in Gib, border crossing is a breeze and a bus to the main Casements area is about 3 euros return, they stop at 9pm though so be aware of that.
HEATY!! (edited)
After all the horror stories about medical problems abroad, I thought that I would just mention that it isn't always like that.
It's actually a 1hr drive from teh arrivakl port to the city
Nice train ride from Algeciras.
Pre-book a dolphin ride too.
Booze is really cheap at the airport but they limit the amount you can buy if from the UK.
Stay in La Linea. It's cheaper than Gib and you can walk across the runway to get there.
