These are good for the money and for GPS tracking need to be paired with a phone while out and about I think

i got a Huwaei one off CEX for aroind £20 a week ago which is similar and well worth the price

its not quite a Garmin but remember that Garmins are a lot more expensive

    Thanks

Dods anyone know if they both use the same Zepp Life app?
    Dealhunter63's avatar
They use the newer Mi Fitness App instead.

Mi band 8 will be on its way to major UK retailer market soon. (edited)

And the Mi Band 9 after that..... Tbh though very little improvements on the latest ones.

Battery life always has been decent. I get at least a month on my Mi Band 5. Constant heart rate turned off . Basically used as pedometer & for buzzing notifications

App reviews look pretty poor, otherwise I'd have given this a go

I have a Mi Band 7 and use the Zepp app and it's fine. Only thing that has been a bit annoying is work use Humanoo for various team get up and walk about things and it doesn't integrate with it, so I have to sync Zepp with Google Fit and then use Google Fit to feed to Humanoo. (edited)

If you recommend it Mr Switch I am buying it

I have been wanting to try a fitness watch for a while but didn't want to spend much. (edited)

I had the mi band 6 NFC and it's been great so far.... it's predominantly a wearable prepaid payment device so I'm never without a form of payment even if I loose my phone ... simply add the curve card which can be linked to many other banks .. ... ..

same, very happy with as the touch payment a huge bonus, I will never upgrade to any non nfc version for sure

Is this better than Huawei Watch FIT, would love to have something that can connect to Google Fit etc, ringfenced Huawei is not easy to share data with other fitness apps, would love to get Redmi Smart Band 2 if its similar or better than the huawei.

What's the difference between these and the mi band 6?

Seems the 7 has amoled always on display, so probably that's the better option.. (edited)

They don't change much year to year. The display is a little bigger, although TBH I could live without one at all.

I'll probably wait for the 8 since i lost my 5

25 minute review but quite technically comprehensive.

Had a string of issues with the smart bands breaking, mainly because of the water resistance breaking and water getting in. Amazon just refund so not so bad.
Trying the red mii one for this price. Not sure if the smart bands are worth £40, and even £32 is pushing it. I usually get them on offer at £20

We have had maybe 6 or 7 bands from 2 up to 6 previously between my wife and I. All been fine until this summer when both have failed to water damage during a week to Corfu in 38c+ weather.

Amazon have refunded for both and we've purchased two of the 7s that will hopefully last longer.

Thanks for this - I've been using a Huawei band but it seems to require a bunch of off-store apps and stuff, all a bit sketch. And I can't get it linked with Strava. Hoping this will work.

my huwaei band just needed the Huawei Health app from the App Store???
