This ssd (2tb version) has 800 TBW, which is ok for almost any workload (maybe except a video editing workstation). (edited)

Where did you get that info from?

I got 800 TBW from solidigms website and from scan.

450TBW for the corsair from there website

So actually the Solidigm has the highest TBW rating. (edited)

Big brand. But, no Dram and QLC, though a good QLC.

So can DRAM cached 2Tb NVMEs be had for less than £100? Where?

Wish 2TB of Xbox storage expansion was this cheap. Effing M$ and their proprietary tech.

    DRAM-less QLC...

    TLC with DRAM -
The excellent Corsair MP600 Pro NH can be had for £84.

    DRAM-less TLC -
The fanxiang S880 is cheaper and better at £76.
The Silicon Power UD90 is £75

    Why would you buy this'?

Also, if you don't really need gen4 speeds (other than PS5 owner very few really do) you'd be much better off getting the 2TB Intel 670p for £70.
Still QLC but at least has DRAM cache. (edited)

Do you have a link for the 2TB Intel 670p?

I doubt it is suitable for PS5 with its speed of 4125/3325 MB/s
    Sequential Read/Write Speeds

And there we are, someone had to say it.

Worst case scenario, installing the game may take a few more seconds.
Game loading time/scene changes/FPS will be as good as the internal. (edited)

What’s the best for video editing? I am looking for me as struggling with slowness

Well not this or any other QLC NAND drive, that's for sure.

Depending on exactly how much you are working with, the ideal choice would be the Seagate Firecuda (530 is the newest but the 520 is still great).

Excellent drives in general but the endurance is miles better than pretty much everything else.

If it's just a hobby you could go for something a little cheaper. Most of the high end TLC NAND drives have very good endurance, just not even close to the Firecuda's.

Actually the 530's not a bad price at the moment, the 2TB is just under £107 -

Also, you using it in a gen4 or gen3 slot? (edited)
