Ordered and received this yesterday. If you register the lens with Sony you can extend the warranty to 2 years (warranty is transferable should you sell it on).

If you have recently purchased an Alpha camera you can also register that with Sony and gain access to a cashback promotion which allows you to claim £100 back on this lens. Making it just £449! You do have to wait 30 days though before claiming. (edited)

It's an excellent lens, I successfully got the £100 promotion using an A6000 body that I bought 5 years ago in Aug 2018, doesn't need to be that recent.

Here's the first few pics taken with the 70-350 on a A6300.
Having a 18-105 as my main, the additional reach gives new creative options and the creamy backgrounds have a lot of cinematic feel, loving it so far. I find the size fine, not that much bigger then my main really, but the low light performance is not fantastic - I was running out of light and found myself cranking up the iso too soon to my liking to be able to hold out shots at 350mm. This was the first time I wished I had spin body stabilisation, it's a bit more effort when the consitions are not perfect, but I'm sure it's an adjustment - Constant F4 had me spoiled:) (edited)

Thanks for posting. A nice range of subjects. It'll probably be the weekend before I get to play. Still adjusting from my upgrade to the A6700.
