Surprisingly there are some pretty damning reviews of this product on the Argos web site

I thought the same. I am tempted to get this to replace my ailing dyson v8 but now I'm not sure.

Any idea how much I can get for a Dyson hand held can't find value on links

I think it is just a flat value for all vacuum cleaners, so £90 iirc

Nice hoover but not as good a deal as what PRC had last week with a 5 year warranty.
This only has 2 years, which I'm not confident is enough. My dyson V8 fell apart after 4 years, the plastic all cracked from the repeated strains and tilting etc.

Picture 3/19 on the Argos website indicates 5 year warranty parts and labour

I don't know if it's just me but I don't like the quality of the cordless dysons bought an v11 and fell all apart. It feels so cheaply made plastic and the suction was not as expected

Yeah, the are plasticky and creaky as they're not exacly well made (Daughter has one).
    Really not worth the money.

I think she'll be getting a Shark when that finally dies (or maybe one of these, sounds like they are decent). (edited)

I'm impressed by the suction power of this compared to my Shark cordless and stuff doesn't get caught in the pipe, unlike the Shark, where small leaves and twigs brought in by my dogs are constantly getting stuck where the pipe narrows at the folding joint, eventually completely blocking the pipe.

However, make sure you get a supply of spare batteries because even two batteries doesn't let me clean the whole house.

Same price at Amazon with free delivery if anyone interested

I got the Jet 70 about 3 months ago, it's been brilliant. The suction is great and nothing gets tangled in it, unlike the Eufy one I had previously. Definitely worth the £120 I paid for it, I'm sure this would be even better.

I have this and think it's great. I paid £300 for the "pet" version which is everything in this "pro" set apart from the mop. I then paid £50 on eBay for the mop attachment in "used once" condition. I thought I'd done well at that price but £304 all-in is excellent value in my opinion.

Honestly the mop attachment is no substitute for mopping properly but does the job for a quick spot-clean of the kitchen floor.

One tip I would offer is that you can use the motorised brush attachment with the brush removed (remove it as you would to clean the brush). This is necessary on light rugs which it otherwise chews up and becomes impossible to push around.

I also bought a spare battery from cash converters for £50. The spare charges in the base while you use the other so you could be vacuuming for ages swapping the two batteries, but we honestly don't often hoover long enough to need the second battery.

I also successfully claimed £90 cashback from Samsung for recycling my old vacuum, though it took a few weeks to arrive. They make you upload a photo of it at a recycling facility, which for me meant booking a slot at the tip, driving there and taking a photo of it in front of the small appliances bin! Not the most environmentally friendly promotion given that my old vacuum could have been donated to charity and I had to drive to the tip, but I guess Samsung want people buying new vacuums and £90 is hard to pass up!

I haven't read peoples bad reviews on this but we've had ours about a year and it's been great, gets blocked easy if you try to suck up big bits but its fantastic for pet hairs, getting up crumbs and muck, on the stairs, if theres a problem like blocked or attachment not on properly, it tells you on the handle, battery lasts long enough for the whole house. We only have the one battery as a second just isn't needed. Easy to clean, empty, swap bits and untangle hairs because the roller comes straight out with a press and puller thingy.

That said, the small upholstery head is crap, and it's easier to just mop your floor than use the mop head on the hoover.

Highly recommended but only the main hoover part.
