Edit 21st August 10.35pm - 22 in stock again, and now 10% off at Checkout, makes the price £13.19 - see here

This was £25.06 last week - however - the biggish price reduction may be because reviews imply this has an EU plug (I'd recommend a new UK plug with a 10A fuse, see here)

Remember the (Amazon Warehouse) Dolce Gusto Mini Me without any pods? Here's the Lavazza version (all listings - currently - say no pods).

Well, mine's arrived. Brand new machine including the pods - although they have a best before date of 2021. Having used pods a year past their BB date I'll give them a go.

    P.S. Many thanks OP. (edited)

Great news! And even better if you got pods (albeit out of date ones) - I *think* these pods are just powdered coffee (and also powdered milk if you buy Dolce Gusto - though A Modo Mio seems to be all about espresso) so I'd imagine these will still be safe to drink.

Can't really do the "sniff test" on coffee, though, but your tastebuds will alert you if they're no good.

Having previously owned a Lavazza machine I wouldn't take this even it was free. The reason? The choice of pods. Lavazza is the Betamax of coffee machines. It might be technically superior, the pods have got more coffee in, but your choice in supermarkets and online is severely limited. Most of the Lavazza made pods are quite a bitter roast compared to the vast choice of Nespresso pods that are available. I've bought Nespresso pods at 10p from Discount Dragon, 30p ones from CRU Kafe, bulk bought from Hotel Chocolate when they left the coffee market, from Lidl and Aldi. There is always some little gem of a pod that gives you all sorts of flavors of coffee at all price points, including some great decafs. There is barely anything available for Lavazza in comparison. It's especially poor for decaf. Ironically my wife hated the Lavazza coffee calling it too strong, now one of her favourite pods is a Lavazza decaf in Nespresso compatible capsule. Bulk bought at Amazon when on offer.

Save up and get a Nespresso. I bought mine cheaply on Ebay, and bought a backup one from Hotel Chocolat when reduced.

I only buy aluminium and recycle them all using PodBack.

You can get a 36 pack of Passionale capsules (the best one) for less than £10 from Amazon though.
    £8.78 currently on S&S.

I still remember the B&M Lavazza Mio Modo with milk frother deal on here. £19 it was. I had never driven so fast to a B&M store before lol. Low and beyond they had them at £19 ( they were £120 everywhere else ) loaded a trolley 6' high and despite the stares bought every single one lol. Gave half away and sold the rest. Still using mine. Only just started using my B&M one after my other with a built in milk frother failed after 6/7 years. That was another B&M bargain for £49.

Couldn't resist. The Dolce Gusto a few weeks ago for £18 was new unused. Fingers crossed this will be the same despite the used good tag. I had taken 4 machines to the charity shop but seem to be replacing them all again. Love coffee.

All gone now. The direct link to Amazon Warehouse was amended at some point but I re-added it (think some were having trouble viewing the Warehouse options last night).

Would've replied to questions but I was in bed - curved screens and glass protectors don't mix! My phone sends gobbledygook if I try to reply at length

If this comes back in stock (I'll keep an eye on it) I'll comment again. (edited)

Had one of these but it broke because the "eco plastic" on top of the capsules was too tough, believe they've changed it now though.

Good price. Only makes espresso though not normal coffee (edited)

There's also a company on ebay selling these new (sourced from Amazon Italy) for £32.99, but with the 64 free capsules in the photo (expired 04/22).

Machine seems noisy and slow compared to a Nespresso machine. (edited)
