Anyone tell me if these are any good and would they work on fibrus broadband?

Yes, they will, but don't expect anything near full speeds on the other 2 nodes not connected directly to the ONT if you are using wireless backhaul with these.

They are pretty good for the price but are older technology so you only get 2.4 and 5ghz coverage.

Yes, they work on fibre broadband as you simply plug one into the back of the router (as a base unit) and turn off your router wifi signal via your router settings.

I have a set of these that I bought on a deal as we live in a bungalow with a courtyard in the middle that made the wifi signal the other side of the bungalow virtually not existant even with an extender. Set them up and the wifi is available throughout the bungalow and has been 100% reliable too

I have a three piece set of these exact ones, I bought because they were cheap. They have been solid, 100% and solved all the problems with streaming video upstairs. The one at the back of the house reaches way down the end of the garden with almost full bars.

I use them with a broadband router, but I haven't bothered turning of the original router WiFi signal, that works just fine alongside, on a different subnet. It also bridges the subnets without me having to get involved in configuration.

Only downside is that they are largish blocky cubes and could be more discrete. (edited)

These are great especially for the price. Had them for many years

For the extra £30, if you can stretch your budget, I'd probably go for the newer technology they have in their MW12's.
It should future proof your setup for much longer.

I have one MW12 married up to 2 MW6's and I pretty much get the full fibre speeds around my house. (edited)

I had MW12 set but was back in the box and being returned a few hours later. Speeds weren't great at all certainly not close to full fibre speeds. Devices were connected via LAN to the 3rd node and 2nd node created a triangle around the house. I got same speeds on the 3rd node as I did with the supplied ISP router using Wifi from where the main node was located with the MW12.

Happy now I've got a 2 node Mesh which supplies full 1Gb speeds from node 1 to 2. As I've got device's connected via LAN.
