I've not tried the WD-40 branded one but every time I tried a foam action degreaser on the drivetrain, I got a mixture of grime and foam stuck deep in the cassette and it was a nightmare to clean it. I much prefer traditional liquid degreasers which just rinse out with a bit of water.

I've never used the foam degreasers but I find this to be decent. I normally wash off any loose diet with water using a hose pipe on jet setting and then spray the WD40 degreaser on the cassette and chain and leave for a few minutes you can see the dirty just roll off.

Not sure how this would work on bikes coated in dirt for weeks you might need something more stronger.

Be careful with WD40 or any degreaser. They cause rubber to perish and can cause cranks, hubs etc to perish. I had to learn ‘the hard way’!

just remove stubbon grease with WD40 and then use washing up liquid
