Better go get a version with RTX 3080m, that here and there you can get for around 1400£. Suddenly for extra 400£ you'll get a desktop replacement.

Also, be aware of the fact that both x13 and z13 both have issues with eGPU ports (I had problems both with x13 and z13).

I’ve been looking recently and can’t find any at £1400 all egpu 3080 models are over £1800.

Just to note - I've had mine for about 4 months now and touch wood, had no issues whatsoever. We do have the egpu too though. My 12 year old gaming mad boy loves it so much I can't seem to get it back off of him at the moment

This is a bad deal. For a grand you can get a laptop with a rtx3060/rtx3070. If you want to game the gfx is way more important than the CPU. (edited)

Anyone who is buying this to 'use as a gaming laptop' is obviously not the target market... this is built for portability like the X13, it's extremely portable and solid - it's close to a Surface Pro with gaming credentials.

Anyone who have this have any issues with heat?

I've read mixed reviews from that front. I can totally accept the machine running hot when gaming (assuming it doesn't literally burn me/blow up!) but I'd appreciate a cool device when doing light admin etc.

I read that it was bad thermal application Asus (what a surprise) but mine runs fine under light load. Also, because it's tablet form factor, even if it runs warmer, the heat is not directed at you.

I ordered one out of curiosity and it's turned up this morning and looks brand new but no retail packaging sadly. Its got 98% battery life with 1 cycle count so a lot better than I was expecting.
