Journey to the Sinnoh region in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl!
Embark on an adventure through the Sinnoh region with Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl on Nintendo Switch, coming on 19th November, 2021!

Adventures in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl will take place in the Sinnoh region. Rich in nature and with towering Mount Coronet at its heart, Sinnoh is a land of many myths passed down through the ages. You’ll visit many different locations in the Sinnoh region, while striving to become the Champion of the Pokémon League.

The original story has been faithfully reproduced, and the sense of scale in the originals’ towns and routes has been carefully preserved. People who played Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl can revisit familiar places and relive familiar scenes once more. For those setting out through Sinnoh for the first time, plenty of new encounters and surprises await.

These remakes include easy-to-understand, player-friendly conveniences of the modern Pokémon series, plus up-close-and-personal Pokémon battle scenes.

Any opinions on the best Pokémon game on switch for the true experience without straying too far from the original formula but still technically brought up to date. Doesn't seem to be any real consensus where I've been looking. (edited)

I mean obviously this game if you want the original experience, but besides this maybe the Let’s Go games.

That's a good price, the lowest I've really seen it anywhere so far has been £30. It feels a lot more like a real Pokémon game than Arceus or Scarlet/Violet did. (edited)

It's just more traditional, but I think Scarlet/Violet went in the right direction for the future of the series. If they can iron out the technical aspect and expand on it, they have something really great there.

Tempted by this. Just completed Violet. First Pokémon game on the switch I've played. Any thoughts?

The art style is different for a Pokémon game which rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. It might be worth looking at some images and seeing if it's to your liking
