Top cash back were giving £90 cashback which i told virgin so they applied £90 bill credit. O2 and Virgin bill seperately so u can cancel the O2 contract within 14 days. Just call O2 to cancel. I wanted to port my number but they were taking too long so just cancelled it.

Their customer service has fallen off a cliff recently.

Seems pricey to me. I pay £10.99 for this + £1.49 for 10GB with Lebara albeit I do have to do a switch every 3 or 6 months

My Virgin contract recently expired. Was paying £24 pm M125 with phone.

Had to go through the usual 'nonsense' of cancellation.

As per usual, a few days later got a call back from Retentions who offered M250 with phone for £18, 18 months
    .

A few weeks later received bill for £54. Rang to enquire and they denied offering the £18 contract.

After much 'to and fro' they finally admitted that they had offered this and finally honoured it.

I have been with them years but always find this process 'unnecessary and a complete waste of time'.

I don't understand why they can't offer this initially when customers ring to cancel their contracts? (edited)

I know, I have renewed twice via retensions. I keep saying I will leave after all the hassle over putting your notice in and then the haggling. Worst is when I have a problem - bloody WhatsApp chat!
