    £250 for a quartz movement? That's a hard pass

Not every watch has to be an automatic you know. Too many watch snobs, around. What movement are you getting for £250 anyway, NH35? Not exactly a calibre B01. This is about £350 cheaper than the powermatic 80 for the exact same stunning watch that will need less maintenance. Not everyone cares about having a mechanical watch, most people won't even have a clue, they just want something that looks nice on their wrist.

    What a ridiculous video

He says it's junk, and to just trust him.

Gives no evidence for any of his claims.

The code also works on the automatic version (PRX powermatic 80) if anyone’s interested. Takes it from £610 to £488. Lovely watches. I have the green (very dark green!) powermatic.

I’ve got the same picked it up last year from a deal here for £440. The green is beautiful along with the waffle and of course the bracelet is spot on.

Lovely watch, I just bought one a few weeks ago, went for the mint green dial though as it is textured. These are really nice too though. Think I'd go for the green out of these.

I don't understand the hatred for quartz movements in this era. Sure in the past when they destroyed 'proper' watches with mechanical movements I can understand the backlash but the concept of a wrist worn device that only tells the time is so anachronistic that it hardly matters that it features a bit of late 60s technology instead of clockwork.
I've got a number of watches from Rolex, Omega, Tudor to Casio and my Sinn UX gets more wrist time than all of them. I'd happily buy a PRX especially at this price if I didn't so badly want to buy a Unimatic Uno to add to the watches that just sit in the winder doing nothing most of the time.

There is no hatred. You've invented that.

Some people just don't think £250 for a quartz is good value.

I have the Powermatic and this is a fantastic deal for the quartz. The quality and feel of this watch, for the price you pay is incredible.

Yes I know you can get plenty of watches cheaper but they won’t feel as good as this. I have multiple Rolex’s, a Speedmaster and a couple of Tudor’s and yet this little old Tissot gets at least 3 days a week on my wrist!

Also.. if anyone sees a similar price for a 35 please do let me know! Would make a lovely present for my mum (edited)

Heat. Just bought this. Definetly recommend for entry level enthusiasts. From all the negative comments I've read and heard, 95% aren't actual owners!

I have this watch. I love it

You might as well get a quartz over a powermatic 80

Shame can't combine the discount codes with BLC or other portals. Hate how companies just throw a code instead of actually bringing down the pricce.

you can get the tissot gentlman with the same code above. i have to hit the breaks hard

Absolutely gutted I just missed this. Really fancied picking up the 35mm powermatic 80, which would have been a steal at £488

One thing that puts me off about this is the integrated strap
