Chalkys have this for a decent price via Amazon

This is the limited 4 LP box set, the re-mastered edition of the quartet's 1995 career-defining double album. Originally released October 24, 1995, the album would debut at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified 9x platinum by the RIAA. It yielded major hits like "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" the band's unlikely first Top 40 hit the exquisite "1979" and epic "Tonight, Tonight" as well as a thoroughly inspired series of videos. Produced by Billy Corgan, Flood and Alan Moulder, the album earnt a Grammy Award, 1996 Best Hard Rock Performance for "Bullet with Butterfly Wings", as well as seven Grammy nominations. Beyond the more obvious hits, though, Mellon Collie is a song cycle of unusual depth and considerable range. It is a collection of stunningly beautiful moments when everything lined up in a moment in time that's still here to be treasured.

    £100 for a record

In fairness it's a quadruple album, so if you think of it as 25 per record then it's about the right price by modern vinyl pricing standards (it's all gone a bit wild, I miss the days when they were the cheap option).

Before they repressed this, this version was going for 250+ on eBay as it's the best sounding version. So despite the ridiculous price it's technically a bit of a "bargain" (if you can call a £100 record that) if you're looking for this specific pressing.

I remember seeing the original vinyl in a shop back in 1995 and deciding not to buy it as it was £25 or something.

Do you know if this is stock of the 2012 or 2014 pressing?

So did I and there's no way if pay £100 for vinyl. Digital sounds better these days imo.
