Great running shoe (I have 2 pairs now) next best price, around £85.

Our focus for the NOVABLAST 3 LE running shoe was to make it lighter and more comfortable. The intention for this trim level approach was to make it look as good in the streets as it does on race day. Influenced by technical performance, the upper's Nexkin mesh material evolves the design with improved ventilation to help your feet keep cool.

A tongue wing construction in the upper helps improve the fit while reducing tongue movement. This component is reinforced with a more supportive heel design to help guide the foot with more control through your gait cycle.

Meanwhile, the midsole’s FF BLAST PLUS cushioning helps create a lighter and more responsive feel underfoot.

Lite Show version also available btw. Has a slightly more water resistant upper and some light reflecting details. Also seems to be available in a wider range of sizes at the moment.

Thanks for the heads up! I just ordered the funky lightshow one. At £67 it's a price where I would bite! I don't think it'll get any better for black Friday.

Still very much on the fence with these. I know a lot of people rave about these but having done a mixture of short runs (5ks) right up to a long run (half marathon) I've found them a bit ploddy. They're noisy for me and they gave me a blister last time I did a 10k in them. Found a little unsteady in turning too. Found that they run big too when compared to my puma and Nike running shoes.

Again, I accept that I'm in the minority here

would you mind to share which puma shoes are you using? I have hoka and Nike and interested to know about puma. thanks

These are the best running shoes I’ve ever had. I’ve always struggled with shin splints and not felt them at all since using these

Try walking on your heels and curl your toes upwards. Shin splints should go.

About to hit 1000 KM in a pair of these and have bought the Lite Show version to (eventually) replace them with.

    Highly recommended!

Do they have good support for ankle and knees? I'm using Brooks GTS 21 and waiting for a pair of GTS 22. Would these be good as a third pair? I had knee injuries on both my knees and noticed GTS 21 stopping injuries twice. İt's magical how they support you by helping you land correctly. (edited)

Literally couldn't resist. I tried so hard.

Fair play to you for trying. I almost closed the deal on some New Balance the other day that I neither needed or particularly suited my running style!

Does anyone have a pair of these and also Adidas Ultraboost? wondering if the sizing is the same e.g. 10.5UK in both shoes
    Thanks
    bigmo7's avatar
I do, yes. I have the Ultraboost 22s and these. Both size 9 and both fit really well.

Good price, but GTS 23's are my preferred choice. I had some GTS 20, but the 23s are even better. Suffered with shin splits before trying Brooks, but never had them since. The 23's model has a new support running the entire length of the trainer. I got mine for £75, but most places charging more.

I bought the standard Novablast 3's but couldn't get on with them. They had an unusual bump around the forefoot and caused a great discomfort after a while. I definitely felt the trampoline effect, but with all that energy bouncing back it was tiring my legs/knees.
