You can get a 15% from Kevs coffee blogs and get it direct from Sage also for a few quid cheaper

Can anyone offer an opinion as to the best value, this or the plus and a seperate grinder or pay the extra £150 ish for the barista express models?

I bought a sage bambino plus back in 2019 and soon after bought the sage smart grinder pro. I can’t say if it’s better than an all in one version but with this set up you can get your settings exactly as you want on the pro grinder and the bambino plus is an excellent machine for me.
I think I fluked buying the right thing for me as I did very little research but there’s a good YouTuber called James Hoffman who has lots of tips on machines, coffee types etc…

The Sage dose control pro grinder is currently £124.99 on Amazon which seems a decent price

I’m so tempted as I’ve been after a Sage for a long time. I’m wondering if it’s a false economy though as I’d been after a bean to cup, but they’re so much more expensive! Looked at the DeLonghi magnifica in terms of reasonably priced B2C but are they actually worth it?!

Sage Barista Express £450 if that's any good?
£4.50 in Caffè Nero for a caramel latte, so if you do the maths them machine are a pretty solid investment for coffee lovers

best purchase i made last year for around the same price. Really impressed, saved so much in not going to the shops for my latte fix

I bought a baby Gaggia about 15 years ago. I’m really struggling with it now. Mate unblocked it but it’s gone again. Live in a hard water area and even though I’ve recently used bottled water I can’t seem to make limescale remover work. I’m gutted as this machine has been brilliant. To top it off my krupps grinder has packed in. First the button on the front which I repaired but now it seems it doesn’t work.

basically I need to spend some cash. When I started grinding beans the coffee improved massively. I will never buy an all in one. Separate grinder and decent small machine with quality parts ie brass boiler, brass portafilter, decent frothed that makes thick foam not bubbles.

Would never touch delonghi - had one first off and it lasted no time. Gaggi has been fanatic £180 off Amazon but many years ago !!

I will be keeping I my eye out for my next machine and also grinder - I NEED A BARGAIN
