The Philips BT9000 Prestige delivers unmatched precision thanks to the built-in metal comb, giving consistent trimming results no matter how much pressure is applied. Enjoy effortless trimming even on dense and longer beards.

SteelPrecision Technology
The BT9000 Prestige features the brand-new SteelPrecision Technology, which consists of an integrated metal comb and a strong cutter. This system does not bend like a plastic comb, no matter how much pressure is applied. This way BT9000 Prestige always delivers the most even and precise trimming results*.

PowerAdapt Sensor
The PowerAdapt Sensor checks the hair density 125 times per second and automatically adapts the motor to maintain constant power. This way, regardless of hair density and length, consistent trimming performance is achieved.

Anti-friction skin follower
Thanks to the skin follower, the trimmer is always at a right angle to your skin, giving you a precise result. It also has an anti-friction coating, which guides the trimmer smoothly on your face.

Up to 120 min Li-Ion power
The advanced Li-Ion battery provides up to 120 minutes of powerful use after a 1 hour charge. Also enjoy the quick-charge function that gives you one full trim after just 5 minutes of charging.

Full metal blades
Our full-metal blades remain sharp for life. They have a special geometry which always delivers a precise cut even on the thickest hair without pulling.

Lasting steel body
The BT9000 Prestige is crafted to stand the test of time. Its high-quality stainless-steel body is hand finished with ultimate attention to detail, giving you a lasting premium experience.

0.2mm precision
Style your beard with ultimate accuracy by choosing a hair length down to 0.2 mm precision. Use the zoom wheel to select from 30 different length settings, from 0.4 mm all the way to 10 mm.

3 level battery indicator
The battery indicator shows when your trimmer is charged, charging or when it needs to be plugged in. It also shows you the remaining charge with 3 simple bars.

100% waterproof
Simply pop the head open and rinse under the tap to clean.

Just for anyone considering this, I went through a number of cheaper ones - finally bought this and has been solid and class for 2 yrs + now - perfect cutting heights, charges quick and lasts long.

Same here, many cheap ones cut me to shreds on low settings. This feels absolutely solid, and has been great a year on. Highly recommended.

I actually prefer the cheaper ones - not being to get down to 0 as the metal comb is not removable was a deal breaker for me.

    Otherwise it was very good!

Had this and it was worse than the 7000 series. Spit hair everywhere and you can't fully removed the head for close trimming. (edited)

Was about to ask as the Philips Multigoom Series 7000 has been amazing for me for everything apart from a close shave where a razor is required.

fyi managed to get the code working today and ordered. Noticed if I add tcb it doesn't work (so maybe referral links like the ones in here would stop the code from working).

Just make sure all cookies are deleted for boots and then go manually on the site and it should work.

Great deal! Is there another 10% off for "students"?

I paid £92.99 on Prime Day. It's now £109.99. (edited)

Like some of the earlier comments, I’ve used numerous trimmers over the years. All were rubbish compared to this. It won’t go down to zero, only 0.4, but other than that this is a superb trimmer. It’s actually really well made and feels like a proper bit of kit that will last for years. Love mine and won’t be changing.

Same as others here. Tried a few different models in the past. Very happy with this one 6 months in. Recommended especially at this price.

How is that compared to Wahl Sterling 2 Trimmer ? Thanks

Had this for a couple years and it just recently broke with a crack in the metal - Phillips sent out a brand new one as was under warranty with zero questions asked, which was nice.

My impressions are, if you want to trim to the 5mm-10mm range with the attachment, which is what I do, it's very effective. A big problem with it unlike other trimmers I've used though is that hairs seem to go everywhere but that's a price worth paying for the standard of trim I get.

Same as others quality bit of kit

What am I missing here (genuine question as a newish beard haver id like to learn!) How are people using this if it doesn't go down to a 0 length?

I have started out with a cheap trimmer and can remove the plastic guard to shape around the cheeks and neckline with a close to 0 length (hen using a guard on a 6 setting for the main bulk).

I'd love to upgrade as I feel what I use is terrible when compared to some of the nicer Wahl units they use to trim the neckline in barbers.
