My philips one has a warning sticker on it saying not to use it when charging, but may vary per model, just checked it. Maybe not an issue but i'm bad for not charging them, so need one that has the 10 minute quick charge option.
It would be nice to have a quicker charge for sure, however you also have the option to use it corded if you have forgotten to charge
Would try and get a slightly more expensive one for a quicker charge, with these if you've forgot to charge it you are out of luck, the slightly dearer ones can charge in an hour vs 8 hours for this.
Can now get it cheaper on phillipes website.... https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/philips-oneblade-hybrid-trimmer-for-face-qp252025-2-year-warranty-ps1899-with-code-delivered-at-philips-shop-3721013?utm_source=mappshare&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=3721013&utm_campaign=2021-05-08
Bro it’s a big con..the blades are how they make there money and they all go blunt way quicker than they should
Absolute garbage in my experience.
This is a great bit of kit as bought one at the beginning of the first lockdown as knew I wouldn't be shaving as regular with no work to go to and never looked back. You get an offer inside the pack buy one replacement blade and get one free which I redeemed with no problems. My wife scoured the net and also found the same Phillips offer on blades and ordered hence got 4 blades for the price of two. Not sure where she got the code from now but worth looking around for a code but great razor, great deal
any deals on the blades? I seem to go throught them quiker then they state they should last :)
Never miss a 'Philips Shaver' deal again!

HI thanks for sharing your first deal post @jack.haley :) This does seem to be the cheapest available from a UK seller for this bundle. The price on Amazon Germany has also increased to €219.90 for the same S9711 / 31 model
I had one of these for a few months and it never really gave a close shave, it still kinda if felt it it did at the end of the day after I'd had a shave with a razor. It's maybe a bit more convenient. But I'd of been better off spending my my on a razor
works out about £10 cheaper if you buy from amazon Germany £155.90 + £3.93 shipping and yes tax inc cleaning system isn't that great save yourself some money And bout same price from Amazon France and possibly free shipping
I've got the older version of this and they're brilliant for hair and beard. Very powerful.
Shame they're so bad at selling the combs/guards. Bought a 3100 and they don't make these available. Wouldn't buy again.
I bought the same from Philips in February for 39.20£
I've got this and it's brilliant it gives a professional cut
I disagree, gives you a range in sizes down to 0.1 of a mm! And powerful clippers with a 'turbo mode' through thick hair Great bit of kit, best clippers I've owned.. (Slightly bias after picking up a brand new set in a charity shop (y) )
Hahaha me too! i defo used for at least 2 years aswell but then it was saying change me now! I can buy more but at the time it just didnt need, for me! Prob i had a lucky pack! Oneblade is fantastic!
I'm similar. I change the blade every quarter and feel like it could probably do with being every 2 months or so. I don't find the blades fragile though as others report, not had any issues with mine breaking so far.
Was that at the beginning of the year, got one a couple of weeks ago and was concerned after seeing those comments on another thread and it took 4 or 5 days to arrive.
One year supply lol. I’ve used the same “blade” for at least 5 years.
Nope I actually got mine and thought it was such a good deal that I ordered again. Was thinking it is a good price to avoid the hassles I had this time with fakes. So googled oneblade replacement blades. It gave me the same link to an offer page. I filled in the details with a different email address. Philips sent me a code to that email. Used the code and bought 2x Blades (again) for 10.99 less cashback. So still valid...
Update. Ordered tuesday last week, every day ive been receiving ups emails saying theyll deliver today, then another late on saying they’ll deliver tomorrow lol
I ordered two - one with my details and one with my wife's and both were delivered today by ups so wasn't too bad delivery time wise.
Mine turned earlier this afternoon, so not used it yet, but flicking through the huge sheets of instructions etc. I noticed this... I have very little knowledge of children, but didn't expect them to have body hair issues so early in life. Or does this imply that making your 8 year olds shave your back is considered OK parenting?
Just have a hot shower, after 2-3 months your skin will get used to it and youl most likely never have irritation for the rest of your life
Got one, pretty good. Make sure battery ain't dying. Use with guard to protect your skin. Them brush off hairs and disinfect. Q: after using, what do other people use to apply on the newly cut area to avoid racer burns or pain? I just have a shower afterwards but does look a bit raw afterwards. TMI my bad
Dude you not supposed to use it without the guard (fierce)
Ordered, however May 1 - May 25 estimated delivery
I tried to self shave with one of these about 15 years ago, looked SO BAD!... Like my first lawn mower attempts. This though, was so damn easy!... Buy this if you're going to self shave. Even though lockdown is nearly over. I will keep using this for a long time I think.
So many times i was tempted to get one of these, but i didnt fancy a tennis ball hair cut at 21mm length, still too short. With never knowing when lockdown will end i didnt want a dodgy hair cut for then everything to reopen the next week. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
With lockdown nearly over prices are finally dropping, bought for £20 during lockdown 1 and its been a good investment so far
Bought one of these and it's nowhere near as good as the ones with the sliding cut adjustment. The shortest guides are no good at all for short stubble. It's fiddly having to change guides all the time. I'm going back to a slsifding guide one.
These are excellent. I have the beard one, comes only with shorter combs - it has stayed sharp for years. (y)
These are really good, I use one for beard trim and I'm guessing Arteta has a similar one judging by his trimmed stubble
DON'T GET THIS. I have a 'Braun' one with similar (almost identical) comb attachment. It just doesn't lift the hair equally and leaves very fine tufts as you cut. This in turn means that the overall haircut ends up not very smart looking. (Notice the combs on other hair clippers, and you will see the teeth are much closer and a different style - they work!) (annoyed) This one is much better: hotukdeals.com/deals/philips-series-3000-9-in-1-multi-grooming-kit-for-beard-and-hair-ps1739-delivered-at-philips-shop-with-code-3697748
Won't deliver to Northern Ireland.
Good price but mains powered which makes it tricky to use by yourself. I use the Remington rechargeable which works a treat for me.
I had several emails from UPS telling me it would be delivered on Friday (today) then yesterday I had a message saying they had tried to deliver, that I didn't answer so I have to collect it from some random dry cleaners on Friday. Needless to say I was in the house the entire time and they just couldn't be arsed taking it to me today so I've got to go and get it.
Mine has just arrived. It's brilliant and I regret not buying one years ago. Although... Am I being dumb, the photo shows a travel pouch included but there isn't one in the package?
Has the deal expired? I'm getting a reduced price with the code of £31.99 and not £22.79
Philips OneBlade Face and Body (QP2620/65) £26.40 @ Philips - hotukdeals Seems a better deal. Comes with body guard and extra blade for only £3.60 more if anyone wants these accessories.
