ooh edgy, exchanging mild insults are we? Lets see, I think 'tishmaster' would be a more suitable username for you as all you do is speak a load of tosh. Go spout your nonsense elsware, I'm not interested.
Maybe 2 scratches, it's not bling shiny like the rest
I go and look
To anyone who has received their trimmer... Is the metal back plate of the blade all scratched up (where it says Philips)?
ENCHEN (xiaomi brand) Hummingbird Hair Clippers -"The blade of the cutter head is ultra-thin to 0.3mm" Panasonic ER-GP21 https://www.panasonic.com/uk/consumer/personal-health-care/pro-grooming/er-gp21.html Posting a couple of names as the mods may not like certain links to sellers selling them. First one can be bought from various sellers on AliExpress and probably elsewhere too. Second one is a professional small trimmer.
I wont buy these from Amazon as there are too many reports of them being fake. Still deals out there to be had for these elsewhere. Last 3 pack I bought was from Very for around the same price Agreed. There is literally nothing else to compare it too on the market which does the same thing (allows for detailing) imo
I don’t mean there’s issues as there isn’t it’s great but it doesn’t last long enough for head use
Brilliant razors not as close as a razor at all but no skin irritation at all (for me anyway) and I use twice a week lasts me 4months.. Lot cheaper than gilletes that's for sure!!
It depends if you want a little bit of stubble or totally smooth. Wet shave with Wilkinson Sword xtreme 3 if you want smooth A head specific shaver for a tiny bit of stubble, with shaving gel for that to be closer/quicker. Andis Fade Clippers for a little bit more stubble Citation: I've shaved my head daily for the last 20 years or so. The one blade seems to be solving a problem that doesn't really exist - the blades are expensive and don't last long for what they do. The results are closer than other electric shavers, but not as close as a blade based one and you will do better wet shaving with the oneblade.
Got one. It’s rubbish, honestly. The battery goes weak after one or two shaves. It doesn’t have a clipper. The rotary cutting area only cuts on the outer ring. Shave closeness is very poor even compared to Chinese versions half the price. I can’t think of anything positive.
good price, but the 40 mins use for 8 hour charge puts me off unfortunately
Wonder if the cutters would fit the wet shave model, any ideas ? I paid +£40 for a replacement set in my 9000 series and I think they were fake too :(
I have something similar, a Phillips Aquatec, I use it on my head to get a proper smooth, shiny, hairless finish after I've been over it with Wahl Balding clippers-the Wahl takes my hair close but the Phillips goes closer still. I wouldn't trust myself wet shaving my head. I wouldn't attempt it without putting clippers on my napper first though. Hope that helps.
Thanks for your det Thanks for your detailed response, the only trouble is my local Superdrug doesn't have it hence Argos (highfive)
Great shaver. Left it in Travelodge and they of course denied seeing it. None local to me. Shame. Have some heat 🔥
None in my local 2. Have been on a look out for a while. Although brought Braun silk epilator 5 cordless machines from my local at this price a year ago. So suppose it's hit & miss with stock really, but thank you for letting us know that these are available at some stores! Great post too (highfive)
Brilliant shaver when shaving every other day or every third day. For a daily shave these don't work so well, but as some of us work from home a lot more now, you only need to shave a couple of times a week. Infact, since lockdown, I've only used 3 blades in 2 years. Brilliant shaver also!
I had one for ages but stopped shaving and the blade went t a bit dull so threw it away, was almost sick when I looked at buying another full rrp

Well for me it’s the opposite it works great and even better if you upgrade the cutting heads to the 9000 Prestige ones. I guess it’s YMMV
Yes mate. I made the mistake of buying this one and it’s terrible. The motor feels weaker and the pentagon shaped heads are trash because they have a huge plastic edge between the cutting surface and your face. Trying to get right to the edges is almost impossible.
This was just €105 before discount just a few hours ago!
Thank it that the ones with the round heads not octagonal?
Don’t waste your money. Seriously poorly designed. Try and get the previous version if you can.

Philips Shaver Series 3000 Dry and Wet Electric Shaver, Save: £80.00 (62%)
Pop down to Lidl and see if they still have the Silvercrest version of that Philips 5000. It was £19.99
It's better to go up to the next or higher series tbh. I think phillips is massively overpriced now.
I'm having a hard time looking at shavers after seeing & missing the 5000 series in the fire sale last month for £21 at Argos/Amazon, even though it's an unrealistic expectation, need to come back down to earth really
