Useless, do a promotion and run out of stock (3) (confused)

Add the 25% code, should take 50% off at checkout

Just got my OneBlade recently. Bit underwhelmed by it. The guards for length seem to cut much shorter than on a normal electric trimmer. Seem to get different results at different angles as well and it wouldn’t pick up hair well unless at a specific angle. I am open to the idea that its me using it wrongly though and I still like the idea. That being said this is a great deal on the blades! Heat

The good thing about hair is that it grows back. (y)

That blending looks like it’s been done with a paint brush

I have this model or a very similar one for 6 years and you are right, and takes time and practice to avoid pressing the clip constantly. After that the machine is light and easy to use and clean. I am very happy after trying so many rubbish one. The adjusment system is not reliable, now i have to keep my finger to avoid a change in the height.

Fair point - can do that next time if that's the etiquette. That would have been much easier for me - not really interested in the kudos - just thought more people would be able to benefit (like I did from a hair cutting opportunity!) if it was posted as a new deal, as I usually browse the latest deals only and I've always been late to any clipper deals as they usually sell out very quickly. Thanks for the suggestion.

Wouldn't it be simpler to message to original poster to tell them to adjust the price? People seem to forget that this site is all about finding good deals, not about getting kudos because you posted a lower price for a deal that has already been posted.

Great kit for the price, better quality than the normal 3000 series that go for 20-30 quid.

I'm not so sure now going by supply and demand; Philips Series 5000 11-in-1 Multi Grooming Kit for Beard, Hair and Body with Nose Trimmer Attachment - MG5730/33 I purchased the above only 2-3 weeks ago for the lower price and it's gone from £29.99 to £45 If you can wait please do.

Wouldn't recommend buying this

Is it good on your balls though? Try it and tell us men that are looking for one that doesn't leave their sack hiding up their arse :D

I have this, I think it's rubbish frankly

I want a new Remington. Been watching the model on Amazon and Argos for a few months now. Both £24.99. At just after midnight last night both bumped the price up to £30 and £31. Cheeky...

I bought one of the two pin adaptors needed for this Trimmer for my Remington rechargeable shaver last week at Poundland for a quid. There shops are currently open for business.

The other 3000 model is in stock in stores. I just got one today in notts. It’s also far better as it has proper clip on guards and is very well built. The motor cuts hair easily and I have super thick hair and I had no issues.

European model.

I tried to use mine and it was a real struggle. Beard no issues though if you have short hair already then again no issues.

Not sure if this needs to be reopened...but I've just got this. Have to wait 9+ days, like, for the delivery but still available.

Great item, does anyone know how to cut hair with clippers provided? (helpful in lockdown!)

Mine has a charging led on the mains (shaver point) adaptor

Apparently another down side to this model is the lack of any charging indicator. Philips say there's one on the AC adapter but someone who bought one recently says not.

The blades on these don’t last long for me . About a dozen shaves. I wanted to use it every day but it’s too expansive for that.

Not sure £2.60 is a lot but I guess it's all relative.. Last week's deal was better for the newer model with an extra blade & comb. But appreciate that's no longer available.

Still a lot cheaper than amazon

If it really only contains one blade as stated it's a bit naughty using a pic with two. The model number shows a single blade on the Philips site: Also note that this is the older Ni-MH model with slower charge & shorter run-time than the LI-Ion version. Which makes a video showing the unboxing of a different model also rather naughty.

Hmmm... the wife gave me my first lockdown haircut today. The results are 'interesting'. I hear the Soviet political prisoner look is getting quite fashionable again!

Well it arrived. Should have read the small print as it has a shaver plug, not a UK three-pin. Just ordered an adapter off eBay. First impressions are not that great. It feels very flimsy & the lead isn't overly long. I was also surprised it didn't come with any external Amazon packaging. Maybe I'll be amazed at how good it is when I finally get to use it. Still, it's got to be better than going to the barbers and picking up the corona virus!

Vgr V030

OOS stock now 😪

I have a set similar by Philips. NOT GREAT. 1. The teeth on the guide comb (unlike the barber's ones) are too wide, and it doesn't collect/pick up the hair very well. This makes it rather uneven. 2. My beard trimmer does a better and neater job (I use this to go over after it). But the beard trimmer can't cope with such thick hair and inevitably gets jammed. Marks out of 10? 5/10 at best.

It's as if amazon has cottoned on to the fact people want these so now they're 'temporarily out of stock.' To get the orders they. I had one on order. Still not come back in after weeks but in the meantime Wahl have come back in stock 4-5 times and got myself one of them. Could be waiting a long time.

I've got this and never been that impressed with it - it seems to miss a lot of hairs despite trying to use every angle possible, and it's also a PITA to clean.

Fine for the eyebrows but absolutely useless for the nasal hair, I bought one last time around (on HUKD)....and the switch to turn it on is badly designed, unless you have completely dry hands.

Remington equivalent at a cheaper price especially if you don't have Prime (Free Delivery) Here......

I have one of these and it's rubbish. No one would accept a lawnmower where you have to go over the same piece of grass 10 times to cut it all, but Philips seem to sell a nasal trimmer that needs multiple passes. Even the Tesco branded trimmers are superior.

Yes I saw that too. It's from Sunday 10th in the latest leaflet. It's the Series 3000. Maybe it was a late edition or like you say it's a regional offer.

Might well be an error, mine has arrived now. This is after I went to asda and bought another trimmer and used it :( will see if they charge me or not. Can't see anything out my bank yet

I got the same email, also ordered on the 8th. But mine just arrived today regardless. Looking at the cancellation email it’s all glitched up so maybe it’s an error?

Philips just cancelled my order, this is after saying it's been processed :( ordered two days ago.

If you shave every day then I only got two weeks before it became painful and I needed a new blade so really bad life. Note it says "up to" 4 months with only 2 shaves a week. So they expect less.

Have used this for over 2 years and never had any issue. Get roughly 2 to 3 months per blade to shave beard and full body and works a treat. A very close shave and well worth it. Shame the blades are quite pricey but will take advantage of the 50% off blades code

I got one of these a couple of weeks back, looks really nice until you try to use it. It is under-powered and leaves a sore cut when finished. Compared to my Boots £17 micro foiled shaver it's very poor and no Trimmer. Sorry but can't recommend it, sent mine back for a refund which was stress free process.

Look on the bargain shelf in Boots. Ive picked up lots over time £1-£1.50, Various locations. Hit and miss but they do last a long time.

It's saying something when the blades are more expensive the the shaver. I have this with blue markings and the blades are £20 when I last looked

Anyone notice they've stopped making these mains and battery powered now? It's all battery only. Makes us buy new ones every few years now when the batteries eventually die. I managed to find the last mains and battery powered one on eBay brand new.

Yeah seems a bit strange, first thought it was a NiMH pack but it is Li-ion, must be using bargain basement 1000Mah or smaller than the regular 18650s to cut down on weight and a slow charging chip. Saying that who shaves for longer than 30 minutes a day?
