Specification
Drying capacity 8kg
Heat pump condenser dryer: Our 'A' rated tumble dryer uses heat pump technology, which works like a refrigerator in reverse, to achieve this unprecedented energy efficiency. The energy consumption is so low, it actually exceeds the requirements for an 'A' energy rating by 40%. So you get all the benefits of tumble drying at a much lower running cost.
ProTex soft drum
Delay start option: Delay start option ensures your laundry is ready exactly when required and helps to reduce creasing and musty odours.
Sensor dryer: Sensor drying gives you exceptional drying results and total control. Simply choose the required level of dryness on the rotary control, from 'iron dry' for slightly damp clothes to 'extra dry' for ready-to-wear results. The machine will then sense when the clothes are dried to the level specified.

Back in Stock!

£440 for a stylish, premium A++ rated heat pump dryer? There must be catch! None that I can see.

Very good reviews for this one at the lowest price ever for a top tier German brand's heat pump dryer. The 7000 series is made in Poland - nothing Chinese here!

Grab this while you can as AEG stocks are low. Don't forget to TopCashBack!

Thanks OP ...only 2 year warranty though.

I own similar model for over 5years. You shouldn't need the warranty. It's AEG.

For those saying AEG customer service is shocking - I've got AEG kitchen appliances and recently had to call out a technican for a repair
Have to say they were fantastic, offered me money towards a temporary oven and came out 2 days after I raised the ticket online.

Samsung on ythe other hand....awful! Had issues with my new washing machine and they've been an absolute pain to deal with. Go AEG peeps! (edited)

Can this be kept in a garage?
    BlackHawk's avatar
From what I've read, a heat pump dryer isn't best suited to a garage due to the cold winter months.

Everything is planned obsolescence now days. That's sad. (edited)

I had a minor problem with a new BEKO oven and the response was exemplary! Fast call out for their own engineer who was happy to accept my readings indicating an inaccurate thermostat, ordered a new one then returned to fit it within a week.

Been watching these deals for a while and now Autumn/Winter is approaching I've finally taken the plunge and gone for this. Thank you for posting!

This is a Which best buy machine. Excellent price.

Do you have access to which? What's the pros and cons?

I'm desperate for a washing machine and was tempted to go for one of the two AEG you posted but the reviews for AEG customer service are sadly unanimously terrible 😔. (edited)

Customer service is a joke with most companies these days. Terrible trying to pick something

Does anyone know if this comes with the pipe required to plumb into drainage?
    Pseudorc's avatar
    It did for mine
  9. CutCarrot's avatar
Does this need to be plumbed in? Thanks
    Dynastydeal's avatar
I believe you have both options. If you can’t connect to a drainage pipe you can just empty the condenser

Have the 8000 series heat pump.
Unfortunately it started making a grinding noise then stopped working. Still under warranty, there sending a elecrolux engineer to have a look in 2 weeks

Ordered thanks! 20% off Code + 8% TCB + 1% Chase Debit Card cashback should take it down to ~£400. And that’s why I love HUKD 😁

If this was the same price: samsung.com/uk/…eu/

Would the Samsung be a better machine compared to this aeg?
    Mary_Mary's avatar
I have the 9KG model. It doesn't have a reverse spin so bedding gets tangled and takes an age to dry. But everything else mostly dries well, sometimes I have to put things back in as they are still a bit damp but thats on a fuller load mostly (not full capacity). I'd go for one with a reverse spin if you can, plus Samsung customer service isn't great i also have a matching washing machine that has caused me many issues.

Can't see mention in online specs, so assume not, but does anyone know if this has a quick dry mode? (Or something equivalent for small amount of clothes).
    Matholwch's avatar
It has a timed drying mode, still needs to be more than 40min to dry a small load:

    api.electrolux-medialibrary.com/ass…pdf
Must admit my LG Heatpump wants to spend 3hrs drying irrespective of whether the clothes are sodden or partially line dried…
