All 264 episodes of the acclaimed US sitcom about the middle-aged Seattle psychiatrist. Having recently moved from Boston to his former hometown of Seattle, Dr Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) soon finds himself on the radio as the host of his own call-in advice show. When he's not dealing with his listeners' problems, he's getting caught up in disputes involving his retired police detective father, Martin (John Mahoney), his father's physical therapist, Daphne (Jane Leeves), his younger brother, Niles (David Hyde Pierce), his radio show producer, Roz (Peri Gilpin), and his father's mischievous dog, Eddie.

For 264 episodes worth of adverts, probably worth the £12 for anyone that values their time.

I really hope the sequel lives up to this .

As sequels usually do, of course.

And nothing could please me more than seeing my nostalgic favourite characters old and slow and dead.

I understand why it happens, but I wish sleeping dogs could be left to lie. What's wrong with enjoying something for as long as it lasts, even the original run got tired and could have ended sooner.

The only comedy to come close to this is Fawlty Towers. Absolutely outstanding; I have the box set (and a signed cast A4 photo framed in my pool room/man cave). I'm a big fan, I'm case you couldn't guess.

Best episode. Niles on the Segway.

" Niles: Hello, all. [Daphne looks curious and excited about the machine.] It's called a Segway. My friend Raul at the university is doing an experiment on the psychological effects of technology, and he asked me to ride it around.
Martin: Well, how do you like it?
Niles: Oh, walking is but a distant memory! Better yet, I can redirect the unused energy to other pursuits [scooting near Daphne] like playing Squash... or lovemaking."

Great series, never a duff episode.

Three Valentines and Niles ironing his trousers is my favorite; so cleverly written and acted!

One of my favourite episodes is where the radio station employees stage a radio play.

i am guessing that paramount plus streaming will have the updated HD versions to tie in with the new series (October)... if they don't already? (edited)

    Loving the transcripts, e.g.:

"Dr. Frasier Crane : Niles? Do you think I'm elitist?

Dr. Niles Crane : Of course I do. You needn't worry about that." (edited)
