Great price - Voted hot but must say I don't care for the taste of the sauce anymore.

Just add sugar and salt lol!

£2.75 for 6 is a better deal. Best beans on the market, will be stocking up

If you think you're not a fan of own label beans, simply add a dash of salt and sugar to them (a teeny dash of white vinegar too) and they're like any "top" brand. Just a little, mind, to top up what's already there but not quite enough

Don't worry, I'm sure your wages have more than doubled in that time so cover it..... Oh.

This used to be the usual price. How far things have gone!

Boycott Heinz. One of the worst purposely profiteering companies during the financial crisis.
  9. sly666's avatar
Oh dear. Whats the matter Heinz? Have you realised your not making the same profits as you used before you since you started ridiculously over inflating all your prices? Shame on you.
    FireOnAWire's avatar
Exactly. £1/tin that they have been charging is absolutely ridiculous.
Hope more and more people move over to cheaper alternatives and never look back! (edited)

After their lockdown price gouging never went away, we've switched to Aldi baked beans. My wife as a life long Heinz Beanz snob is still happy
    Rich_T's avatar
Same here, Aldi all they way now, heinz won't be getting my money again for beans.

Waits for the "IM NOT GETTING A NECTAR CARD!!!!!" comments..

Heinz with too much stock due to insane price hikes shocker.

Il never purchase a Heinz product again due to their blatant profiteering.

I was in Sainsburys today, they had loads of Heinz baked beans, whilst i stood in the aisle (looking for something else) i noticed that most customers were picking up Sainsbury own despite the Heinz being on offer.

Lidl ones taste nice only 28p per tin.

It’s been proven in blind taste tests time
And time again that Lidl beans are the worst
  15. FruityJohn's avatar
It’s what they should cost in the first place, greedy Heinz and the supermarkets
  16. CptSimon's avatar
Have Heinz finally realised with we won’t pay rip off prices for their products
  17. deleted531767's avatar
Good if you like tasteless watery beans.
  18. Relievo's avatar
    the proper price.

Thank you Sainsburys... not sure whether I am tye onky one that has noticed but this has now taken over Asda... by a long way... for affordable food shopping. At £2, these are now back to pre pandemic pricing. We have now permanently moved all our shopping to Sainsburys from Asda with their rip off pricing on food and petrol. Their advertising their food compares with Harrods was the last straw... completely tine deaf.

Went off Heinz beans years back, converted to Branston beans about 10 years ago. Own brands can be OK but will only buy them if I can't find Branston at a good price.
    Newey's avatar
Brough some in asda the other day in asda, £2.50 pack of 4 with 10% back in asda rewards.. seems good price .
  22. skimpy's avatar
Shame I worked out years ago that Branston are far better.

Some people are behind the curve.
    wanderer_forest's avatar
Branston just need to get the ratio right. There are too many beans and not enough sauce.
  23. wanderer_forest's avatar
I suspect Kraft have a build up of stock and needed to shift asap. Many ppl have switched to alternatives.

I got the last one at my local.

Well stocked up now. A decent price for over-priced, over-hyped stuff.
