Every time there's a powder, someone comes and complains about the taste. So I'd like to know what is the best tasting, best quality powder regardless of the price?

If you're not concerned about price, just buy the variety sample packs a lot of brands (ON, MyProtein, etc) have so you can try a lot of flavours for yourself. Costs a bit up front but answers the question of what tastes best for you very quickly, and saves you from the gamble of getting a taste you might hate.

I've bought this before. Just a heads up, it's not the best tasting but it's cheap.

It's not the best but it's definitely not the worst.

I got the chocolate flavour once it tasted chemically

I remember the good old days when Reflex used to have a side brand and you could get 2.2kg tubs of unflavoured whey for £10 all the time. Ahhh good times. Ive always thought of their products being decent in terms of quality but their flavouring is where they often failed. So stopped buying there stuff many years ago. It used to be artificially over sweetened and just taste very chemical/synthetic. Guess the price is decent hence why it gets a thumbs up from me. (edited)

Use reflex all the time. They are pretty decent quality and at this price, really good value. There creatine tablets are £6.99 on Amazon as well, plus the bcaa powder is on sale. Bought all three, you can’t go wrong with that package for £58. Will last me the whole month. You will definitely notice the difference if you hit the gym and take all three products together. One of the few powders I’ve definitely noticed improved recovery with. Never tried the BCAA or creatine but may do so now

Worked out at £25.80 for me with S&S. Worth a try at that price.

    Good price.
I usually don't mind the taste of any protein powder so not overly worried. (Although one did smell slightly pukey)

    Whey isolate only

    It's a concentrate.

How can you get 70g of protein from a 35g serving? 👏🏻
  15. uF0n's avatar
I'm totally new to this, but how does this compare to other posts on here for 4 or 5kg costing around £35 - £40? e.g. ebay.co.uk/itm…261
Are there differences in the products to explain the price/pack size differences? What should I be looking for, e.g. type of protein or amount? (edited)
    amd12345's avatar
They are weight gainers so they tend to have loads of carbs in them as well as protein. This is better if you want muscle gains only. Protein is more expensive than carbs and you can seriously get fat on weight gainers if your not careful. They are handy for some people though!

Everytime this powder comes up I like to comment about the gas it gave me

Looks like they only have salted peanut caramel left.
