Suitable Mesh solution for M250 Virgin Media user in a bungalow with streaming/gaming in mind

Hi,

I am currently having issues with the WiFi at the moment due to the router being installed in the living room and the TV room being at the other end of the house. The speed dropped from 200mbps to 20-70 and recently had slowdowns to 0.3-3mbps. I also would like to get some ethernet connections setup in that room for gaming purposes as downloading games right now is very slow.

Would something like the Tenda Nova MW6 be a good solution?

Thanks!

Virgin Media provide up to 3 free depending on package, also I ended up running a cable along the guttering for my parents so they had the fastest speeds, much less hassle than setting up a mesh!
(ah and if it's gaming then you'll want to run a cable anyway!) (edited)

I’ve never had an issue with Amazon eeros since owning them.

If speed isn't meeting virgin gurantee they will supply you with some free pods (their own mesh). Speak to virgin to find out details

I think it's only free on the higher tier packages and they charge £8 per month for this policy if you're on M250-M500.

If all you're after is ethernet, run a single cable from the back of your VM router/modem to the gaming room and you should be all set.

Ended up ordering the Deco S7 3-pack and it's absolutely fantastic. The speeds have improved to 220-270mbps!
