Best place to buy m1 mac mini

Hi. I am looking to buy a Mac mini 16gb. I assume the m1 will be cheaper. Can someone recommend the best place to buy one or who’s reputable when it comes to refurb. Apple seems to be expensive

and also do I 100% need 16gb? I will use it for web browsing and movies

Definitely don't need 16GB for movies and browsing. I usually have 30+tabs open on mine

Apple sell refurbs too. Check regularly as stock changes all the time.

I should have added as well I have an iPhone with pictures and videos. Can I use editing software to edit both video and pictures should I want to with the 8gb. It’s purely for putting together vacation photos/video. Photos of the kids etc

im just wondering if I would need 16gb for that usage. I don’t use a computer for work purposes just personal

Yes, likely fine. Mx CPU Macs are more efficient on RAM usage.
