Are these the stupidly spicy ones? I tried the 2x spicy ones in the red packet as a challenge, and they melted my face off, and I love spicy food.

These are still too spicy to be enjoyable in my opinion and I also enjoy spicy food

    Is this soupy?
    Matthew_Roche's avatar
No, you drain the water and add the sauce packet. Not soupy whatsoever. If you want a soupy ramen try Nong-Shim Shin Raymun instead

Might take a while to get through 40 for me, these have a long expiry?

I'm still going through Indomie mi Goreng noodles I bought in 2015, the seasoning oil goes a little stodgier than when in date but that's it, I still use it and have never suffered any ill effects.

If you want to mellow out the spice slightly, you can also add between a teaspoon - tablespoon of (crunchy?) peanut butter. Or anything fatty really.

Gives it a slight Satay vibe, but you can probably lean into this further if you have some (brown) sugar, ginger, coriander and lime on hand. But by that point, you could have probaby made the extra effort for actual satay.

Here are the 2x spicy packs for 34.99 for 40 for anyone that doesn’t value their bum ebay.co.uk/itm…651

They are expired stuff from 2022

We make them with milk instead of water, then add a processed cheese slice.

    Filthy, but delicious.

Does anyone know if these are vegeterian?
    DJSyko's avatar
    They are

3x Spicy is on that page under "chicken spicy" £1.75 a pack which is pretty good.

Cant wait to try them as the 2x spicy is great.

Great noodles (not water bogged, and extract sauce is pretty good)
yeah there spicy, but a nice spicy.
The x2 in red packet (average £5.50 from chinese supermarket for 5 pack) are the super spicy ones that leave an orange stain around your mouth.

There best served just as they are (the x2 spicy ones), as i found adding a few pieces of chicken took away some of the heat...

Time to try some of those x3 spicy ones!

Voted hot, as these are greating tasting noodles, with a thick sauce that sticks to the noodles once you drain away the water (edited)

Aren't these 2 packs for £1 in B+m or am i thinking of a different brand?
    Testaverde's avatar
Think those are the Koka ones
  11. egonspengler's avatar
These are quite spicy, so it might be worth checking if there is also a deal on yoghurt and toilet paper before you buy these. Always be prepared...
    ThingyGuy's avatar
Just make sure to use them in the correct order
  12. Rumz's avatar
These are great - even better if you add your own vegetables like: Pak Choi, Spring onions, different sauce and boom lovely mix.
    mecheekymonkey's avatar
So what you’re saying is…buy your own plain noodles and add own ingredients?
  13. Malabus's avatar
On a low carb diet, my nurse will not tolerate me ordering these, she always finds out.

    Tried once, got sick.
    Never again.

    Unpleasantly spicy and salty

For those who are brave... there is a 3x version...
    Naliboi's avatar
Omg, I need to keep an eye out for those
  17. MrSynthpop's avatar
Love these, hot enough but not a test of endurance like the 3x
  18. CashCow's avatar
My lad tried these, got a little kick, but nothing too serious. The worst thing was, he spilt some on his clothes and is now permanently stained
  19. hukduserr's avatar
really want to have these again. but it is 56% daily salt intake per pack?!
  20. ZeroTheGhostDog's avatar
I like spicy food but this is too much - reminds me of people that purposefully order really spicy currys at Indian restaurants and you ask if they like it - red in face with tears running down their face ‘’yeah its nice’’ , yeah alright then

I have a packet of the x2 spicy somewhere and I dare not try it. (edited)
    elfedorro's avatar
People can still enjoy the flavour with the heat and the sweat and tears running down their face I know I do!

Do not have this at work or school and make sure to do a number 2 the next day before you go to work or school.

Very very good price! I usually buy this box for around £40. Last time I bought it it was £38

Anywhere sell a selection pack of all the flavours to try? I see them listed but all seem to say random flavours will be sent
  28. PHL's avatar
Is there a hotter flavour than this?
    scotty6435's avatar
According to burgernkimchi.medium.com/sam…4b9 only the 2x spicy and the bibim ones that might not be available in the UK. There also used to be a 3x spicy
  29. scotty6435's avatar
Nothing tops the 2x nuclear hot ones i tried but even these are incredibly, uncomfortably hot. Unless you eat and enjoy challenge food, these will be seriously painful.
  30. Moss.b's avatar
    This is hot.
  31. weeklycoconut's avatar
    Hot hot
  32. Aaliyah_H's avatar
I never knew there was a spicier one then the black packet. I think i will have to hunt the red one down, to see how good it is!
  33. AbbasTheJinn's avatar
Does it come with instructions on how to reassemble your back passage after consumption?
  34. markvirgo's avatar
Who has tried the cheese ones?. Seams strange to me to have chicken + cheese noodles.
    bruce287's avatar
It's like a spicy carbonara... cheese and noodles is more an Asian culture thing but its very tasty
  35. laccc's avatar
I like hot spicy things but this is another level. I gave up after a few seconds and couldn't eat it..
  36. 103point5's avatar
    delicious
  37. Chz's avatar
Yeah, I'm with the "I like spicy things, but that's too much" crowd. Unless you eat chili daily and are inured to it, this won't be comfortable even if you use half the flavour packet.

What really aggravates me is that I haven't seen anyone selling Shin Black in at least a year now. That was goooood stuff.
  38. Stephen_petrou's avatar
    Similar price in costco
  39. BrianButterfield's avatar
I bought these and found them to be the worst noodles in the world, they were so gross, a weird texture and taste to them. I'm talking about the wet plain noodle itself, but yeah then adding the sauce and it's just way too hot to be edible. I love spicy food, but this was like putting Da Bomb on it... Which I've also tried and it was the hottest thing ever. Like I can eat a Ghost Pepper just fine, but these noodles were hotter than that.
  40. dave170's avatar
These are good… but I can’t handle the heat of them 🥵
