Really irritated with having to register before viewing item. Do these morons want to sell their stuff or not. GET REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of manufacturers price fix by saying any products supplied must be between x and y price and cannot be sold lower. By having to register it becomes a private club and allows companies to get around this. Just send the emails to a junk bucket e.g. sportpursuit.jdb656@gmail.com.

All Salomon hiking boots are pretty much the same. I'm buying them for the last 8 years. With my 30K+ steps a day they don't last very long. Lowest I ever paid for the goretex ones was £56 in SportsDirect long time ago. The last pair was close to £100 on promotion. So for me this is a bargain! Ordered 3 pairs so the footwear is sorted for over a year now.

BTW grip on wet is far from ideal on Salomon shoes. Works just fine for my parcel deliveries in the rain but if you are trail running this can be an issue. (edited)

Don't like the fact you can't even look at the site without having to register (edited)

Goretex Salomons for £60 - not to be sniffed at!

Especially after a really long hike

Just the fact they want my email just to BROWSE the site - they can do one.

If you're after a similar quality pair of hiking / off-road shoes, Karrimor Sabre via Sports Direct. I've had about 3 pairs in the last 3 years. 10/10, quality shoes and they're lace-less, better if not on-par with Salomon

Karrimor are cheap rubbish, no where near the quality of salomon

It's all these sites that want you to accept cookies to, I always select minimal but its annoying and ruins the online experience which is supposed to be fast.

It’s required by EU law, so blame them

Great company, used them many times. But you do need to add postage to the price (extra £4.89)

Would like to see the grip in these,,, I sometimes run on the hills. If anyone can post a pic of the grip would be appreciated

Did anyone manage to find online reviews of this particular model? Googled but couldn't find anything.
    Grey101Ace's avatar
Yeah I noticed that - makes me rather suspicious reducing newly released shoes (only legitimate reason for no reviews) this much or are they deliberately made cheaper for sale by the vendor.

Was going to buy them, but will pass for now.
