1) Not finding a way to make it backward compatible with PSVR games ( and, yes, I know there are issues around not having the same sensors etc but they could have provided free upgrades)
2) Price point is too high to get more people to bite.
It also doesn't help that PCVR has dwindled heavily. With PSVR1, there was some good synergy between console and PCVR in terms of software support. I mean, yea, devs can still port over Quest games to PSVR2, but like, it's very noticeable that these are mobile experiences on a technical level and it can feel like a big step back.
As somebody else said, at £400 this becomes a fair bit more appealing, and I think Sony should do all it can to achieve that ASAP. Cuz losing momentum in terms of developer interest due to small install base can quickly lead to a chicken-and-egg death spiral. (edited)

if you want cheap get Quest 2 with mobile phone processor inside and LCD and best case senario xbox 360 graphics. (edited)
