Noise cancelling terrible compared to my XM3, no NFC, and can't calibrate ANC to current environment.
Only perk is it's comfortable.

Yes, the XM5 do not fold but its not a deal breaker, one less hinge to go break!
Quick thoughts, ANC is amazing, complete silence 2m away from a portable ac and sat next to a fan. Much better than my soundcores (q30), sound is good but will need some tinkering
Do you have the Auto ANC turned on? (That feature where it changes the strength of the ANC depending on what you are doing).
Trying to find the optizmer setting that the XM3/4 have but I don't see it in the app, which makes me feel like it doesn't have it on these headphones.
Very tempted to return them and get the XM4s instead.

I had a crack at both XM5 and XM4 and based on my experiences i think the XM4s are much better

You need to filter by Like New and look for the 30% discount.

They seemed to be in pretty good condition, very little signs of use, tried them out quickly and they worked great, fairly comfortable. Will see how they compare against my Bose QC-45's I bought not long ago.
Currently updating firmware to 2.0.2 via the app.
However, both the usb cable and the audio jack were missing. I contacted amazon hoping for an extra 30% discount like @JakHUKD received above, but rather than offering me some money off these they told me to return them and buy a brand new replacement pair and they'll refund me the difference.
