I love XCOM 2 and I tried it on the Switch but it wasn't great! Battery lasts about an hour or so and it ran like trash. Also, I don't trust it for ironman runs. Hopefully when the Switch 2 comes out, it gets some sort of next gen patch. The dream.

I found BL collection unplayable on the Switch, tried Joycons and 8Bitdo controller, accuracy of aiming is awful

If you're looking for a great shoot 'em up, Danmaku Unlimited 3 is in this sale.

And when the time comes, the unit will be busted wide open and all this stuff will be archived by the people. It's clear that the companies care not for videogame historical preservation.

Great game I enjoyed it lots on the switch. A few slowdowns here and there when too much is happening at once during some combats but overall a great port.

Nintendo should really get likes of NES era SMB2 and SMB3 on the Switch eshop. They had them on the 3DS eshop at reasonable prices, varying from £4-£5 over time. Lets be honest, those are still the best 2D Mario platform games even after all this time., due to the quality and imaginative USP's. There really is not a lot of love or enthusiasm for Super Mario Bros Wii U/Switch Deluxe when you look back and think about it. I never took to it on Wii U that well. I actually preferred the Mario DS and 3DS platform games that preceded that game. Then there was the weird Luigi physical edition whatever that was all about. Was all low effort really. Decent/average by Mario/Nintendo standards for me. Mario Wonder is a wait and see for me. It could be good. It could just be a colourful update on the last game.

Grid is excellent but suffers from the non-analogue trigger buttons on the brake/accelerater, unless you are ok using the thumb stick( (or have the N64 controller). The graphics would not as good but maybe worth getting on mobile instead with a decent controller just for that.

I don't see the push for physical unless you plan to re-sell. Really wish they would release a system where you can sell digital games you've purchased, physical needs to be retired atp.

Brilliant games. You could just get Ace Attorney Trilogy for under a tenner, but the collection is excellent value for around 130 hours play
