Info added by

This 30” tall tower fan by John Lewis is prefect to ease those sweltering days and nights, thanks to 3 adjustable controls for different wind types and 6 breeze settings.

An ideal fan for either personal home or office use, this device has variable speed settings to keep you at just the right level of coolness – there’s even a sleep setting to make those hot nights more bearable.

With a 90 degree oscillating fan head, you have maximum room coverage. Additionally, there’s an auto switch off timer to help save power.

The wireless remote makes finding your preferred optimal setting a breeze, all without leaving your seat or bed.

Does anyone who owns one know if they could be used on smart plugs to come on when the smart plug is turned on or do you have to push the power button on the top each time? Thanks

I don’t have a smart plug but when I just turned mine off and on again at the socket it did not automatically come back on, I had to press the button. Hope that helps a little.

Seems hardly worth it given summer finishes on Sunday. Decent price though

Got one of these reduced in store due to a damaged box. It's definitely worth the money, not the quietest but good settings.

I have this. Paid £50 and has been worth every penny. Absolute bargain at £25 - I’ll get another and stick it in the loft if this one eventually dies. Hasn’t so far though (3 yrs in).

Thanks OP. Ordered 2 for C&C for tomorrow.

Went for the 30 and 36”. Like how these take up less room than a normal circular tower fan.

I paid £50 for this last year and found it useful if a bit noisy. You have to play around with the settings (use the remote or the actual unit) to find what works for you. Anyway, I bought another one today for £25 but of course just had to make it up to £50 for free postage so I bought a couple of things for my gifts stash plus some slippers for myself. Thanks OP.

Picked my 2 up today, nice design and worth the money. I find them quite noisy though, even on night mode with the fan at its lowest setting.

I bought a 60 watt tower fan from b@q few years ago. Does the job. Would not go lower power

Collected mine today. Very nice unit. Looks smart. A little noisy on full but eve on low or medium it puts out a nice breeze.

Just got mine today. It's so amazing. Looks very nice as well. Don't even need to put it on high. Medium seems perfect.
