Finally, AWD Has come back ;-P

I was pretty disappointed yesterday, repeatedly clicking on that AWD site from 2pm, "Reload" "Reload" Reload" and "Give it to me. sigh, lame."

2 PM Came, it went, and the day closed with not a single new system by AWD on launch day, their first-ever launch with nothing!.....

And now there back! #Geekmode entered.

  • CORSAIR 3000D CASE! RGB £100 - ohhhh thats nice.
  • RYZEN 5 7500F & MORE. 175
  • MSI A620M MOTHERBOARD 85
  • ASROCK 7700XT GRAPHICS 440
  • CORSAIR 16GB DDR5 RAM** SEE NOTES 50
  • FX PRO 700W BRONZE PSU 35
  • ADATA 480GB SSD 15

EST part £900, All built with 3 years warrenty £949.99

obvious thats a system at entry opening in AWD terms, i would personal do some changes:

+0 32GB 4800Mhz Ram upgrade free of cost. ^

- if u desire extra speed, as per ddr5 ram goes then fee is mhz is on the 32gb range + with the site.

+1TB nvme starting from £17.99
- loads on there, from ur budget nvme to budget 2Tb, to high standards of Gen4.0 nvme, so plenty of options here, eat ur heart out

+39.99 Gigabyte GOLD 750W V2 PSU

so doing them 3 items = 1007.97 and if use code BBurger that knocks a £10 off.
so that would make the 1k bang on deal.

From that 1K theme:

+Higher 32GB mhz Rams
+Higher nvme options
+Higher CPU Options.
+7800XT GPU at £60
+B650 Motherboard at £50
+Aio ranges at 60

Nice Def get the 7800xt upgrade for 60!
    jameshothothot's avatar
Tom's hardware says 7800xt is 11 pc more expensive than 770xt for 20 pcore performance so better value if you can. Heard similar gamers nexus too but I cannot stand their charts! (edited)

With all the upgrades would this be better than the other you posted?..

Is this enough for 1440p 120hz gaming?

    I usually play Dota 2.

struggle to get 120fps @ 1440p Ultra setting on some newer games. lower settings should be ok. maybe consider the 7800XT addon for £60

We certainly starting to build back up more ideas around the 1k mark aint we.

Pretty much the common budget is £1050.00 - its the most asked QS, and then they say i could Squeeze another £50.00

    1) The 7500F vs 7600 is the thing to consider for the AWD, but they make ground in respect of the case.
you dont have to mess around with the TCB to get back under control, but storm is a bigger firm with the upper CPU, but down on the PSU but enough, but more ram that isnt gonna cost u even more to get to a min of 5200mhz, but 4800mhz is fair 4800/5200/5600/6000, the Asus -a is slight over the base MSI this time around for the -e (nothing in it), palicomp obvious not an AMD massive backer, just the odd bits so i dont feel they will come in the race yet, unless pushed, but they do well in that 4070, obvious u will need to consider the bonus of RTX, DLS, and thatwill always faver alot of users, but the 7800XT in FPS performance without that, and ull find all the main videos and obvious that under 16gb 5200mhz to balance it out, and offers a better psu then storm and matchs the awd; but awd has 7500F, so its a good switch swap here n there, time u take palicomp to 32gb 6000 is the calc cost of AWD at 6000mhz too.

So we got 3 links, 3 firms, All ryzen with 2 GPU's.well 3 GPU, maybe u want the go for the lower option 7700xt and have more quality in the ram, board

palicomp has the option on removing the default 3070 rather then upgrade to 4070 so u could use there system to gpu add in ur self, such as the amd, and ull get the game with the GPU,

AWD on this and palicomp either, u can surpass this into Bseries/ 7600X -> 7700x (storm lacks that area with its options, however phone call adjustment do them well, i just had a chap in my inbox thanking for the call adjustments,

so thats look at the 3 deals on a "price print", area (edited)

would you say with a bit more budget its better to go with the palicomp 4070ti build?

Hi Sarden, appreciate all your posts on here. You certainly seem to know what you're talking about. I was just wondering if you could help? I am looking for a desktop gaming PC for around £1500 and quite like the idea of liquid cooling. How does the above in your last post compare vs this:

Upgrade to 7800xt, It normally beats rtx 4070 and get cloes to 4070ti in some games, 7700x sits between rtx 4060ti and 4070.
