    Not a good iPad as has a non laminated display. Every iPhone since the iPhone 5 over a decade ago now has had a laminated display. It's a shame Apple still wants to gimp the base iPad in such a way to distinguish it from the Air/Pro models.

    Not a good deal as can be purchased for around £270 if you look around.

    The Wi-Fi version is ok at under £300. This is cheap for the cellular question is it worth paying £100 more just for that feature

    Yes, I believe it is worth paying the extra hundred. Stick a cheap AYCE data SIM and decent keyboard in this iPad and you have a ultra portable laptop.
