Does nothing a decent android phone with a wireless controller or attachable controller doesn't. Don't waste your £300. It's all cloud stuff. If you don't have a solid wifi connection, don't waste your money.

Steam Deck much better option at £300-350 (edited)

Or a refurbished steam deck for even less than that when they're available!

Wish PlayStation would make something similar, that portable thing they've got coming out is pointless.

This is pretty much the same thing - a portable very low spec android device solely designed for streaming games, but in this case it is cloud games instead of a nearby console.

If you’re willing to pay this price for a portable handheld console, buy a steam deck instead! At lest you’re not depending on an internet connection to game! I’m amazed this has any heat at all, should be cold. Sorry OP! (edited)

The device itself is actually pretty solid and well built. Perfect size for cloud gaming and retro games, just a shame it's overpriced.

Aside from price. This is actually a nice handheld. I had one briefly. Screen is so nice.

Waiting for it to come down to £199 then I’ll probably get it

When a refurbished Steam Deck is £279 this has to be at least £100 too expensive for what it is.

Defeats the point of having a portable device in my opinion. If you're in the house, an actual games console or PC would be better. If you're out and about, or in a hotel or similar, you're reliant on the speed (usually slow) of that hotel chain, and lots of hotels also charge for internet these days.
Unless you're someone that likes to play on an armchair in the same room as the rest of the family whilst they're watching the main TV, I don't see the point. Even then, a Steam Deck or Switch is better at this sort of money.

I'm a handheld nerd and would love to give this a try, but...
    1. It's main attraction is cloud gaming, so if you've got slow internet like me, it's pretty pointless
    2. The chip is extremely weak. Will struggle to play your average phone game. my old phone the Poco X3, a £150 phone had the same chip and I had to sell it as it couldn't run my games on even low settings

Aside from those issues, it's very well built and polished. Way more simple and easy to use than most other handhelds. I really think it should be a £200 product with that chip though. If it had something like a Snapdragon 870 or better than £300 would be a fair price

im looking at this, for what i understand is more comfortable than a bulky steam deck, also battery is like 15hs , of course is a cloud handheld not a steam deck that runs the thinghs in the console itself

my main use would be emulation, between a chinese handheld that would not have that quality & ergonomics this one i think is worth the price

I bought one before I bought the steam deck. It's not worth this price. Have you considered using a tablet and a controller (edited)

Worth? Or wait for Lenovo Go?

    Lenovo go would be better

anyone got one? I'm debating it, I have an android and controller attachable but something nice about having a dedicated device and still being able to use my phone, also dont have to make sure my phones charged prior to using it

I miss my Sony Xperia Play. Has anyone brought out anything similar? I don't want to carry yet another device on top of my phone.
