Except, the reason for the move was I needed a tough little SUV to bounce around the countryside and the Vitara does that far better than the Mercedes could ever have done.
It's x 4x4 which this isn't so has better off road and snow ability than this but now with 80k on the clock, it has no rattles, everything has worn well, has cost nothing in maintenance other than fluids, filters and tyres and is still worth 3/4 of what I paid for it in 2019 when it was 4 years old and already done a big chunk of depreciation.
These cars are so tough and wear so well, there's no need to buy a new one. If you really want to save money which is the point of coming on HUKD, get a 3 year old one where someone else has paid the depreciation and enjoy years of reliable, economical and enjoyable budget motoring.
That or this?? :/ :/ :/ :/ :/ :/ :/ :/ (edited)
You see even a small petrol car will have more co2 than the biggest of evs. Its the fuel that is the biggest causing factor.
What this doesn't say is this is a mild hybrid. In other words pointless in terms of efficiency and environmental
Hybrid tech is relatively old tech. Ev tech is fair new and even then the battery replacement (whuchbhas obviously many many more batteries vs a hybrid and especially a mild hybrid like this) and even those are coming close to the cost of an engine replacement.
Sorry, I'd hate for your incorrect message to put people off. Although mild hybrids are a total con
Maybe I am missing something, the Go model (not sure of the difference) is cheaper
KIAs or MG for similar money are much more modern
Every mechanic I know sings the praises of Susuki.
This is actually pretty good value for a new car but even better value at about 3 years when it will be more like £15K and still have plenty of life.
