As the title suggests, these are free on the 27th Sept at 7pm, looks like plenty of availability at the time of posting this, 2 tickets for one prime member, the series actually looks good, and I love the boys

Set in the diabolical world of The Boys, Gen V expands the universe to Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of heroes—preferably with lucrative endorsements. You know what happens when supes go bad, but not all superheroes start out corrupt. Beyond the typical college chaos of finding oneself and partying, these kids are facing explosive situations … literally. As the students vie for popularity and good grades, it’s clear that the stakes are much higher when super powers are involved. When the group of young supes discover that something bigger and sinister is going on at school, they're put to the test: Will they be the heroes or the villains of their stories?

Some venues are currently showing as sold out but people with tickets have the option to cancel in case their plans change so you could get lucky if you check later.

Cynical production hoisted on the back of The Boys success or decent series? I guess we find out on September 27th, regardless FREE costs you nothing and you can make up your own mind. I hope it is decent as The Boys is one of the best super hero series out and for me far better than what Marvel have been churning out for years. Hot deal for me bring it on.

I prefer both The Tick (massively under-rated and annoyingly cancelled but at least it got 2 seasons) and Invincible, both on Prime.

It's disappointingly restrained compared to the comics and characters get plot armour (largely due to the reset button getting hit every season).

Surprised no-one's commented yet on the first 3 episodes that have aired on Amazon Prime so far. I quite enjoyed them and, yes, there are a few gross-out scenes like The Boys is infamous for. Thought that they might have had a few of The Boys characters cameo something more than a recorded clip or two though.

This sits between seasons 3 and 4 of The Boys, which might make the viewing order tricky for complete newbies once season 4 of The Boys starts. (edited)
