    Where?

The 7320u processor in this is based on the older Zen2 architecture used in the Ryzen 4000 series. It's still a good deal at this price and will be fast enough for most users.

Is this the best “bang for your buck” under £300 for a 15.6” laptop?

Want to get one for the other half and have a budget of £300.

Anything better or similar to consider around this price point?

I bought this laptop on this deal. The laptop won't start however long you press the power button. Tried with charger also overnight. Going back today.

Sounds like you were unlucky and got a dead one, it happens occasionally. Are you getting it replaced with another one?

Would the laptop be able to run steam? Looking to get my child his first laptop but do not want to spend huge amount on a gaming one that he may only use a couple of time? Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏
