    Support to Jun 2027 and an IPS screen are the standouts here. Celeron N4020 isn't great for multitasking but basic browsing and media consumption is fine.

    For less than £50 this is a steal. Ideal for if you want to know what a Chromebook is all about.

    I have this and it's an excellent little machine for day to day stuff. It's also a doddle to install Linux on it (hit a few buttons in settings)

    I use it for sorting photos, running Cura (Linux app) for my 3D printer, Steam Deck linking for a bigger screen, Netflix and for general internet browsing. I've also a few Windows apps running via Linux Wine.

    4GB doesn't seem like a lot these days but it's a very basic OS and doesn't need a lot. The only downside I've found with it is that the screen could be a bit brighter.

    It’s Harlow, Edinburgh Way in Essex. No idea why they put as Edinburgh city. I can’t change it for some reason.

    If you can get it, it's great but decent Chromebooks are ten a penny now, especially used, so unless you happen to pass by and see this, I wouldn't go running around to locate one.

    They sure are. I just bought my son last month an Acer with 8 GB ram and 128gb storage for only £130. It has software updates until June 2029

    Looks like what they did earlier in the year but the chance to combine with the 50% deal the OP mentions if you get very lucky.

    I need a cheap laptop for storing and managing pictures off my phone's. Is this any good. I've is the memory any good and does it run seamlessly (sure I had a little notebook type thing in past an it frustrated the life out of me with delays opening up apps, new web pages etc)
