Laminated chipboard is available in most DIY shops, but you might have to cut to size. Although B&Q offer a cutting service
Yep, bigger B&Qs have a panel saw and offer a free cutting service. So take exact measurements with you and buy a bit of contiboard or whatever from them and they'll cut it to size, although it can only be done when a trained member of staff is available. (edited)
Usually they are just ContiBoard, get a sheet and cut down yourself
Yes you can, also depending when you had the cabinet installed you can ring up and request a shelf.

Depending on size... Am sure IKEA would be able to help
I should imagine 90% plus of shelves are the same standard sizes to fit the size of standard units.
