Post Office, DPD & Evri Partnership

Hi All,

I've noticed the recent news about the Post Office. It's now possible to both receive and send DPD and Evri parcels at the Post Office.

Is this a positive or negative situation?

I've experienced several lost parcels when attempting to collect them from my local Post Office, along with enduring lengthy queues. Not a fan of this partnership.

Anything involving Evri is not positive.

My local corner shop did UPS but refused to let me drop off half the time citing too many parcels already.
The local post office refuse dpd altogether citing lack of space. The next nearest whinged when I took it there saying they won't take it if it won't go through the hatch (which it did) or over 10kg as it will hurt their backs..
    It is just a mess..
In a separate note, my locks evri lady is brilliant. Never had an issue.

It's not where you drop off the item that's the issue, it's Evri and it's employees that's the problem. (edited)

Think it's the amount of work they're expected to clear each day. If the pay wasn't structured by how many parcels you can deliver, it would be a lot better customer service wise!

I think it is a good idea for the post office as the corner shops are doing it, so the post office might as well get involved

My 3 local corner shop are run by scumbags, parcels left anywhere people walk in and out steal as they please, no security.

Evri is the best of those 3 in my experience

It’s gotten to the stage where I avoid any companies who use Evri. A total shower.

We have had deliveries with evri and they have always been good. It may depend on the area.
