These unfortunately don't work on Worx tools as although the moulding is the same as Worx batteries, the connector wiring is different and is missing the terminal Worx tools need to draw power from the battery. As those connectors are soldered to the battery controller board, there's not even a sensible way of retrofitting an additional connector to make them compatible.

Worx batteries are however fully compatible with all Bauker tools.

Very interesting topic here. I have found some info regarding the inside of these batteries.

The apparent difference is that the Bauker is missing one terminal. Usually one of the middle two terminals is for a thermistor. The other could be a resistor to check battery type or for communication with charger. My guess is that the latter is missing.

Another interesting finding here is that the Worx one above does not seem to have balancing connection while the Bauker one does. But we need to know the exact part number of those ICs on the BMS to be sure whether they are only monitoring the cell voltages or actually does any balancing.

Anyone knows if they are compatible with black&decker ?

    Not compatible.

Weird that it's the same size as the 2ah version. I have a 4ah battery and it's double the size.

Looks like it was just photoshopped, perhaps they lacked a stock photo for the 4Ah. (edited)

I believe these fit the Hawsmoor range from Toolstation.
I have a chainsaw that runs on two of these at a time.

Looks like they must've found one more pallet of old Bauker stuff!
Sadly just batteries, no tools like we had in the fire sale last year

Still regret not buying the crazy cheap SDS drill

Amazing drill, I got one and didn't really know what they were about. Didn't know they had finished, have tried sourcing another to no avail.

Thanks, bought. Have the leaf blower, hedge trimmer and angle grinder, they've been surprisingly good tools for their low price.

Just got mine, pic was indeed a cut and paste, it's a nice big 4ah battery. Handy for all my ferrex stuff, thanks op.
    Granty578's avatar
Your Ferrex stuff, how old is it? More recent stuff seems to be 5 pin, not 4 pin.

My 2 have arrived , bonus they have the remaining charge indicators , Worx charger does not work but Wesco one works ok (edited)

Can confirm this ‘worx’ with my Worx WX366.6 drill

Quite a bargain, as previously mentioned they also come with an led charge state indicator.

The 2ah seems to work with my nail gun I’ve just bought. I’ve plugged the battery into the charger and the light is solid green at the moment so I’ll need to run the battery down to see. The 2ah doesn’t have a remaining battery indicator.

Take it back. Tried firing some nails and the overheat light stays on. The led worklight is fine but it won’t fire nails.
